Today’s episode of Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show features deejay Popcaan for a 2nd time. After Reggae Sumfest in the last episode, Codine Williams visited Popcaan at the Half Moon Hotel to interview him, and Interact with him and his “Unruly Gang“. He spoke about his meeting with Snoop Dogg, his style of music, weed, and few other things. Interesting to see Codine joining Popcaan for a smoke, she’s coughing alot. It’s all about Popcaan, and no other artists. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

noisey1

Noisey Music is back with another episode of the “Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show“. In today’s episode Noisey features Reggae star I-Octane. Here Codine Williams showcased I-Octane rehearsing for his performance at Reggae Sumfest and recording dubs at Buju Banton’s Gargamel Studios. Octane also spoke on his upbringing, his interest in music at a young age, his mission to make his music speak volumes and gain further recognition, and being a good influence. Nice Interview, I like that they featured his “We Love The Vibes” single and dropping a exclusive at the end. I wished this interview was longer though. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Snoop Dogg, in collaboration with Noisey Music, produced a series on the music scene in Jamaica called “Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show“. Hosted by Codine Williams, the first episode features currently Incarcerated artist, Vybz Kartel. Here they speak on his impact on Dancehall culture the world over, his current challenges, reactions from his fans, and they also show activities that were held in his hometown. Not bad for the first episode, they even have a voicenote from Kartel as well. Looking forward to what else this series has to offer, that man and his “twang” though. NEW VIDEO: Hop (@HopDaGreat682) – In Too Deep (Deep Cover Remake)

Today’s entry comes from Bronx based rapper Hop Da Great. Titled, “In Too Deep“, this is his remake of the 1992 classic “Deep Cover” by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. In the video we see Hop and his crew chase down a bootlegger for selling unauthorized copies of his mixtape, “The Unusual Gift“. Short but cool video, haven’t seen a bootlegger themed rap video in a while, and Hop did well over the Deep Cover beat as it is a classic. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @SnoopLion – La La La

The King of the Jungle is in the building! Yes people, Snoop Dogg a.k.a. Snoop Lion finally dropped his video for his reggae single “La La La“. Interesting video, Snoop’s singing while being surrounded by children in animal costumes, dancing females, and stoned (high) pineapples. I like the graphics throughout the video and the song is still enjoyable. Click on the video above and share your feedback in the comments section.
