A couple weeks ago, the legendary Beres Hammond gave the world nothing but that niceness with his “Love From A Distance” online concert. Serenading with the classics, he gave the audience even more when he brought Popcaan on stage to perform a new single called, “God Is Love“. While the single became available days later, today we get the visual for it.

Directed by Shane C. Brown, Rasheed Hammond, and Lauren Watkis, we see Popcaan and Beres Hammond build a vibe together with Shane C. Brown at the studio. We also get various highlights of their performance at the concert, and we witness a great pairing as Beres the elder and Poppy the young bwoy gave us a song that we will be enjoying for years to come. Is it too much to ask for a collaborative EP?

Kris Karz is back at it again with new music for your speakers and head tops. Having gained some traction with his “HEARTBREAK” Lyric Video last month, he moves forward in a new gear for his latest self produced single, “LOVE“.

 Over some Jazz influenced production, Kris Karz gets into some smooth talking as he shows a lot of interest in pretty young lady. When he’s ensuring that he’s not a poppy show and can more than give her what she needs, he keeps it real when he lets her know that he’s on the way to top, and she should be on board as she’ll be the one who he makes many things happen with. With February being the month for Valentine’s Day celebrations, “LOVE” comes at the right time as many are just finding love, or are maintaining the love they have. Accompanying the single is a lyric video that definitely stands out. Featuring contributions from KxrlyMiyagi, ArtLovesTrap, Lushane Tucker, and Totally Animated Studios, consider this presentation to be one of the best you’ll be consuming all year. With a project slated for a mid 2021 release, Kris Karz is ensuring that the Kngly Studios engine is running at peak performance!

Will The Wolf & Xodrew Team Up On “I’m Thinking You Should”

Trinibagonian Creative Will The Wolf continues his impressive run of releases in 2021. The rising artist continues to show his range with various topics covered, and amazes viewers with the accompanying visuals he and team put together. Today, we get to check his latest video for the single, “I’m Thinking You Should“.

Will The Wolf teams up with Recording Artist Xodrew here as they deliver a track that is hitting hard thanks in part to the production by Tano. Will drops lyrics that many can relate to, and with Xodrew’s contribution, the vibe is still the same here. Will has a commendable streak of tracks out, and only time will tell how his official project will sound. The video which in collaboration with Josiah Persad Films and Jonanthon Mora, finds Will rocking a skull face tattoo while looking dapper in between him going hard (and getting hit hard) in the Boxing ring, while Xodrew looks like he was transported to the 1940s as he finds himself chilling with some beautiful women throughout the video. One thing for sure, Will The Wolf sure knows how to pick a great team to put everything together.

There comes a time in everyone’s life where they think about the things they do, and decide to move on from them to focus on bigger and better. The legendary Edley Shine (formerly of the infamous Born Jamericans) speaks on this and more in his latest single, “Big Mon Ting“.

Produced by Riddim Boss, “Da Big Voice” Edley Shine looks back at various things he has done over the years, and shares how much he has grown from them as he’s more about things and people who are very important to him. When he used to be with all the ladies, he now cares about the partner he is spending the rest of his life with. When he cared about being on the scene years ago, he’s now more about being in every aspect of his child’s life. Talk about maturity. The single is featured on his 2020 EP “Based On Talent“, and accompanying the track is a music video directed by Studio Gota from Brazil. Shout out to those who are all about growth, it’s all about what’s most important to you.

In 2020, Rappers Niyne and Rxp Flo made noise with their respective projects, “Trapping From The North” and “Trap Island” respectively. Just a couple members of the growing Trap movement in Jamaica that has influenced Dancehall in recent years, only time will tell when we’ll see the movement grow beyond measure. While they have their respective fan bases, they start off the new year with a collaboration called, “Life Hack“.

Produced by Jae Martin, Niyne and Rxp Flo trade bars as they aim to get to all the bags, and if there is opposition, they’ll handle it in their own way. Not only are they bringing some energy to the scene, but they bring together their respective collectives, and possibly hinting at a soon to be released joint project. The Hip Hop scene has grown in all sort of ways in Jamaica, and you best believe it won’t die anytime soon. Get familiar with the wave!

Over the past two years, Rapper Daley HTG has been staying consistent with the music in efforts to solidify his brand. His partnership with Miami based NEUYU has found him becoming more creative with the releases. Despite the pandemic in 2020, Daley stayed busy, and in 2021, he looks to continue his run. As a matter of fact, he kicks the year off in a big way with the release of the music video for his 2020 track, “2021“!

Directed by Diego Jeanty, “2021” finds Daley HTG not only performing his track, but we get some behind the scenes looks at him making music, and making moves to expand his brand. Along with music in 2020, Daley also found himself in the world of Podcasting with the 1257 PodParrie Podcast along with co-host Jeniel. Watch what he does next in 2021.
