NEW VIDEO: @JimJonesCapo x @IamChrisMartin – Cheater’s Prayer (Remix)

Posted on by swadedavillain

Well this is interesting. After seeing huge success and a few counteractions, Jim Jones felt it was only right to take stab at Chris Martin’s “Cheater’s Prayer” single. Titled “Mary’s Prayer“, Jim raps about his relationships and how it has been hard to be faithful to one. In reality he has personified his many ventures in life from drugs to lifestyle changes as women and their reactions. Pretty decent for the Love and Hip Hop star, video is simple with just him hanging with his crew and playing Cee-lo. I hope Chris Martin has heard it. NEW VIDEO: Hop (@HopDaGreat682) – In Too Deep (Deep Cover Remake)

Posted on by swadedavillain

Today’s entry comes from Bronx based rapper Hop Da Great. Titled, “In Too Deep“, this is his remake of the 1992 classic “Deep Cover” by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. In the video we see Hop and his crew chase down a bootlegger for selling unauthorized copies of his mixtape, “The Unusual Gift“. Short but cool video, haven’t seen a bootlegger themed rap video in a while, and Hop did well over the Deep Cover beat as it is a classic. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @RynoDiStinger

Ryno

While Sting 2012 was just a few days, the air has cleared and many questions needed answers. One of the questions involves the short fight between former Portmore Empire artist Black Ryno and current artist Popcaan. Winford Williams sat Ryno on the Onstage set to talk about the Sting incident, premiering his new song/video “Courage“, the possibility of a clash in the near future, upcoming projects and others. Personally it’s sad that it has come to this because they have been two of the top artists coming from Vybz Kartel’s crew. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
