The two Generals team up for another track! While they delivered nearly 3 years ago on “Top Rank“, the “Genahsyde Boss” Masicka links up with the “Warlord” Bounty Killa again for “Diplomat“! Released through Genahsyde Records and 1 Syde Records, the Dancehall Lyricists go back into the Weapons Room to load up even more clips to blaze fire on all opposers!

Bounty Killa and Masicka can do no wrong when they collab, and we look forward to even more as we believe they have at least an album worth of tracks together. This Heroes Weekend saw many folks partying away, and taking that well needed escape from all the madness that happened during the week. In case you need a dose of energy, you can pick up some from the much anticipated video for Khxos’ creeper hit, “Tambrin“!

Directed by Jaakko Mannimen and shot in Los Angeles, Khxos has found himself among plenty beautiful women in this one. From the pool to the bedroom, Khxos sure gave them all a reason to say he’s sweet like “Tambrin” (Jamaican way of pronouncing “Tamarind”)! Newly signed to Delicious Vinyl Island, Khxos will find himself in more markets soon, making more moves.

.@ManeenMusic Enters Storytelling Mode In The @JLLProd Produced, “Nanny Bag Part 2”!

Jamaicans have a thing for storytelling. If it didn’t start with something similar to “Me have a piece a mixup fi gi yuh deh…” or “Come mek me gi yuh joke…“, you won’t be thoroughly entertained. Today’s storytelling comes in the form of song, and the person delivering it is a “Tech Boss” who is also a Recording Artist by the name of Mannin Marsh a.k.a. Ma’neen! Making his official debut, he drops the track, “Nanny Bag Part 2“. Produced by J.L.L. (who has been on a roll this year), Ma’neen tells the story about a young Jamaican “Rude Boy” who tries to avoid arrest by leveraging his relationship with the Police Officer’s girlfriend. The story features meetings on the “Endz“, lots of weed smoke, Panama, awesome production, and a whole lot more! Artwork for the single was beautifully done by Richard Nattoo a.k.a. DJ Sinista.

“Nanny Bag Part 2” is the first release from the upcoming EP titled “Sexy Reggae“, which features Ma’neen showcasing even more abilities over more J.L.L. productions. We expect this EP to drop in early 2020. Grab a chair and kick off yuh shoes because Ma’neen a go pop story gi yuh!

This Generation rules the Nation…with VERSION!

Where are the South Park fans? The series has recently kicked off their 23rd season, and last week celebrated their 300th episode! Continuing their “Tegridy Farms” story from last season, Wednesday’s episode tackled Marijuana and Plant-based meals in “Let Them Eat Goo“. During a later part in the episode, the character Randy Marsh and Towelie got themselves in some cow related problems after setting up shop for their own line of Plant-based “Impossible Burgers“. How did they handle that problem? By first getting high, and taking care of business to the tune of the 1982 Reggae classic, “Pass The Dutchie” by Musical Youth!

Produced by Peter Collins, this is a song about facing extreme poverty. This song was redone version of the Mighty Diamonds’ hit “Pass The Kutchie. More info on the track can be found here. The single has been been a historic one as it helped with Musical Youth being the first black group to have appeared in a Studio segment on MTV.

Today, he looks to break a record with the new single, “Relay“! Released through Island Wav and Jelly Records, BakerSteez sprints on this one and pops Champagne on the pagans at the finish line!

With collaborations with the likes of Tommy Lee Sparta, Projexx, Konshens, and Quada out for all to hear, Steez might be looking to give the listeners even more music in time for the Christmas season. It’s not secret that Kyng Tavii is a huge Alkaline fan, so much so that the Deejay has inspired many of his skits and music. Today’s entry is no different as he was requested to make a video with the “Detta Boss” in mind. In “Dear Alkaline“, Kyng Tavii parodies Rapper Eminem’s infamous track, “Stan“, to share his love for Alkaline. He shared his ups and downs as a fan, even including taking his side when Alkaline beefed with Vybz Kartel and Popcaan. He even mentioned being a proud Stepfather for a child that Alkaline made with his girlfriend.
