No matter what goes on around you, just remember it’s just life. K Don and Keino recently released their collaboration titled “It’s Just Life“. With a mix of rapping and deejaying, they speak on what they’ve seen and experienced over some good production. Great effort from both as they aim to bring a message in this song. Today’s new music comes from two doctors, Dr. Evil a.k.a. Leftside and the Funk Doc a.k.a. Redman. With their remix to the single “Monkey Biznizz“, they bring a mix of Dancehall music, R&B and Hip Hop to the clubs. Not a bad effort from both artists but I like the mix of old school Dancehall with a modern track. I honestly never expected a collaboration from these two but does this mean Leftside could be a feature on Redman’s album? Let’s see what happens. Today, on December 5, 2013, Nelson Mandela passed away. The former South African President and South Africa Anti-Apartheid Revolutionary, was the first black South African to hold office and fought against racism, and demanded equal rights and justice in his own nation and for the rest of the world. Mr. Mandela has been an influence and inspiration to many no matter their colour, creed and location. Having been name dropped in many songs, he was seen as a hero to many. It’s your move. Today’s new video comes from Cham and it features Damian “Junior Gong” Marley. Titled “Fighter” and directed by Kush Asher, we see Cham and Gong playing a game of chess while we witness how corrupt the system can be through a promising young man’s experience.
