Earlier this year, US Pop Artist Christina Aguilera announced her 8th studio album, “Liberation“. With a couple singles out, fans were looking forward to what the songbird had in store as she found herself staying busy with other activities in recent years. On the album, she found herself collaborating with Reggae Artist Keida, and Dancehall Artist Shenseea on the track, “Right Moves“! Produced by Che Pope, Bryan “Composer” Nelson, and Marcos “Kosine” Palacios, the 3 ladies have their eyes on the men who know how to woo and seduce them with all the right moves. From having chills running up their spines, to having their bodies explored like iPhone apps, the men have to come correct when it’s time to get down. A great combination of Reggae, Dancehall, and Pop on this one, and a unique addition to Aguilera’s project. How did Makeida, Christina, and Chinsea do? “Liberation” is available on all streaming platforms, but you can check out the track below. Show us some love on Instagram at @13thStreetPromo.

We Take A “Quick Throwback” Look At @Protoje’s “The Feeling”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Happy Throwback Thursday (and Happy World Cup day)! Today we bring to you another in our “Quick Throwback” series. This time around we go back to the year 2005 with the birthday boy Protoje and check out, “The Feeling“! Off his “Lyrical Overdose” mixtape, “Diggy British” hops on a Hip Hop instrumental done by Producer 9th Wonder (off his Black Album Rejects beat tape) to paint the picture of him being a Ganja Smuggler. From enjoying the finest herb, to trafficking it, to getting a rush from dodging the law, Protoje is the one for all your smoking needs.

Since his mixtape, Protoje has worked his way up to releasing his first single “Arguments“, and became one of the prominent figures in the new wave of Reggae artists in recent years. He is set to drop his 4th album at the end of this month. For all the weed smokers and exporters. If you’re loving this post, be sure to check out our previous entries, and stay tuned for our next one. Check out the track, and follow us on Instagram at @13thStreetPromo.
