Devin Di Dakta is an Artist you can’t deny when it comes to making songs. His lyricism is both hailed as great, and underrated as he’s at times left out of the Dancehall conversations. Regardless, he continues to release fiery tracks, and level up his brand. For his latest release, he makes bold statements that he has made the longest and most lyrical Dancehall song in history, and has released Jamaica’s “First 1 Track EP” in the form of, “PsYcH wArD“.

Produced by Slaybad Musiq and with a video directed by Yaadboiiz Films, Devin Di Dakta gives viewers an epic showcase of lyricism for 10 minutes straight from a Padded Room. Having a few years in, Devin doesn’t show a sign of slowing down, and proceeds to have your attention with punchline after punchline. You can say his style is crazy, and he may be a mad genius, but he’s not losing it on this track. The 1 track EP isn’t the first time Devin has been stretching his creativity as he released the “iAMe001-003” Visual EP series in 2020, and commanded attention with the content behind his “Bare Meds EP” from earlier this year. Devin is still thinking outside the box with the “PsYcH wArD EP”, get familiar.

For over 40 years, he has been moved from child star, to a living legend. He commands stages, saved many events, and deserves to be called “Dancehall’s Greatest Entertainer“. Triszy & Jayy Lav Give “Pretty N Clean” A Visual With Munga Honorable!

Back in June, we highlighted Dominican raised/Brooklyn based Artist Triszy and Brooklyn based Artist Jayy Lav’s single, “Pretty N Clean“ featuring Dancehall Artist Munga Honorable. The single has been doing well since its release, and there were plans in motion for a music video. Today, we get to show you that music video.

Directed by Yaad Boiiz Productions and shot in Jamaica and New York, Triszy and Munga get acquainted with some ladies on the Island, while Jayy Lav hangs with the crew, flash a lil money, and have fun with some girls. The song still brings that early summer vibe, and the video helps to amplify it a little more. “Pretty N Clean” has been getting some love worldwide, and we know the follow up singles will be bangers for sure. Recently, the world got to see some of the best Athletes compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. In true fashion, members of Team Jamaica represented well regardless if they medalled or not. If you follow music closely in Jamaica, you know that tributes to the Athletes would be on the way. First at the finish line with one is Recording Artist Chris Malachi, and a bunch of his friends for the track, “We Move“.

Produced by Yo Christon and Chris Malachi, “We Move” also features Blvk H3ro, Naomi Cowan, Diel, Yung Ras, Ras-I, Kxng Izem, Royal Blu, Zhayna, and Monifa Goss who all delivered well for an epic tribute. We know this track will inspire many other tributes, and we will celebrate them like we did our Athletes in the past few weeks. We’ve seen many who were counted out become Medalists, years old records being broken, confidence through the roof for many, and despite some having setbacks, they’ll return to the track with a lot more determination in Paris 2024. Jamaican Dancehall Artist 450 releases new single "Journey" on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica #Caribbean

450’s Career Continues To Trend With “Journey”.

Having enjoyed his name being in the spotlight for weeks thanks to his hit single, “Imperfection”, Dancehall Artist 450 is aiming for a longer stay. Since the release of the single on June 7, 450 has been receiving co-signs from many of the major players in the Jamaican music scene. He has also gained a consistent endorsement from many on Social Media, and has been enjoying heavy rotation on some of the best musical platforms worldwide. With the growing success, 450’s new single “Journey” is onboard to further solidify his presence on the music scene.

Produced by DWH Records, “Journey” is a dedication to the haters as 450 speaks about the progress he’s making in his life on “Journey”, while having to deal with people who don’t mean him well. The song comes at a time where he starts to see a lot more success in his career, in addition to experiencing the challenges that may come with that success. Regardless of his experiences, he knows he deserves to be where he is, and he vows not to change who he is, protect his energy from those who wish to steal it, and put in the necessary work to continue staying successful. The single was released on August 6, and has been trending ever since with a #6 placement on Youtube with over 200,000 views, a “Top Songs” feature on streaming platform Audiomack, and a #3 placement on Apple Music’s “Top 25” chart for Kingston, Jamaica, a placement that is also shared with his “Imperfection” single which holds the #2 spot. The single has enjoyed thousands of streams on other platforms, and has been heavily shared by fans on the Instagram platform through posts in their feeds, and in their “Stories”. 450 is very grateful for the love he has been receiving for “Journey”, and has hinted that he has more music for the people on the way. Plans for an official music video for “Journey” is currently in development.

Sizzla Takes Us “On A High” On New Album

When you have a work ethic like Reggae Icon Sizzla Kalonji, best believe there will be a lot of new music to enjoy. While he has been busy in everything from producing, to Community Development, to Humanitarian work, a lot is done in those 24 hours. Nonetheless, Sizzla has get into Artist mode and give us a new album called, “On A High“.

Featuring 12 tracks, “On A High” is the follow up to the 2020 album, “Million Times“. Sizzla continues to give listeners a selection of love songs, conscious music, and a bit of Social Commentary. Chiney K Productions, Vision House Music, G MAC, In Da Mix, Great Black Minds Studio, Robert Murphy, and Kalonji Music Productions round out the producers featured on the album, while Recording Artists Gingerbread Mane and Mink Jo are the guest features on there. No matter what’s going on in the world, there’s always time to listen to some Sizzla.
