Get To Packing: Vybz Kartel Says “Don’t Come Back” In New Song!

Ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha… The “World Boss” Vybz Kartel is back at it again with a new song! Titled “Don’t Come Back” and released through Vybz Kartel Muzik, Addi gives us a different flow this time around as he ridicules ungrateful women, having nary a problem with a woman as he still can get whichever one he chooses, declaring himself as the “One Don” and should have a holiday in his honour, and further exhibiting that he is one of the best out there. Fresh off the Video premiere of “Girlfriend” with Busta Rhymes and Tory Lanez, we know some new collabs are in the works for him. No long talking, get familiar with the new Kartel below!

Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” Sampled On New @TamarBraxtonHer Album!

What a Bam Bam! With one of the most sampled Dancehall singles to date, Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” continues to make more noise all over the world! Adding to the list of Artists who have blessed the sample is US Recording Artist, Tamar Braxton! With her new Album, “Blue Bird Of Happiness“, she recently announced that it will be her final Album as she’ll be focusing on her family. “Bam Bam” received the sample treatment on the track, “Run Run” which was produced by Troy Taylor and Bridgetown, and appears as track 3 on the Album. “Bam Bam” was released in 1982, produced by Winston Riley, and has been sampled/featured on tracks by the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West, Guerilla Black, Lauryn Hill, Kat DeLuna. The single was even featured in a Reebok Commercial.

Dancehall/Reggae Producer Don Corleonie is also featured on Tamar’s Album. He is credited as a Writer on the final track, “Empty Boxes“. Check out “Run Run” below, “Blue Bird Of Happiness” is available here.

With so much going on in the world, we all want better for ourselves, our Children, and their Children…but the good fight has to happen in order to see positive changes. Featured on the cover of the single is one of the photos taken during the Grenadian Revolution in March of 1979 which overthrew the government of Eric Gairy, the 1st Prime Minister of the Island by Maurice Bishop (Politician and leader of the New Jewel Movement (NJM)). Fans Praise @QQWorld’s New Sound With His Latest Single

Fans have been adjusting to a smoother side of QQ with the recent release of “I Like It“. The single, produced by College Boiz Productions and QQ Music, is different from QQ’s more upbeat singles such as “One Drop“, “Jack Hammer” and “Kushi Wine” to name a few.

The Artist who has been absent from the Jamaican Dancehall scene for a while, has been performing on several major stages in the United States and Europe. “I want to show a different side to my music but whether i’m singing or deejaying, I am all about pleasing my female fans” shared QQ. The single is featured on the “Precious Seeds Riddim”, and has been receiving a favourable response from fans worldwide. The “One Drop” star is set to perform in Guyana in October, and Barcelona, Spain in November.

QQ has several new projects in the works, and is back in Jamaica to shoot music videos related to them. He added, “My last video was for “Kushi Wine”, but people still talk about my video for “Tweety Bird” directed by Strugu Films that was shot overseas”. “I Like It” is available for purchase on several digital platforms. If didn’t know, Dancehall Recording Artist Khxos (Formerly Khaos), released his debut Album, “Dopamine” this past Summer. Known for songs for the ladies, and not afraid to get busy on a Riddim, he made sure his name was hot online and his music heard on all the playlists. Recently, he teamed up with Recording Artist Chevaughn to release their Music Video for “Can’t Get Over You“. Shot by Sean Alaric, the single has been a favourite off the Album, and the video adds to its fun vibe as it was shot in sunny Florida! With Khxos’ way with words, Chevaughn compliments it with his signature vocals to get the ladies hooked. Be sure to catch Khxos live at “Imprint” on October 15 in Kingston, Jamaica! Dancehall Artist Sol Weatherman Goes Viral, Promotes “Handcart”

With several controversies surrounding Dancehall music videos, upcoming Dancehall Artist Sol Weatherman is now victim to a candid video gone viral. The video shows the Artist singing his recent single, “Handcart”, with what appears to be an M-16 Rifle in hand. More recently, another video surfaced with the Artist riding a donkey at the popular Street Dance “Wappingz Thursday”.

“Handcart” was produced by Krayv and Jay Crazie Records on the “Car Tire Riddim”, and is described by Sol Weatherman as a “Hustler’s Anthem”. “The video was simply me chilling in my community and during that someone recorded the video and posted it online. I don’t encourage violence, “Handcart” is a song for the Hustlers and hard working people, it is not a violent song”. When asked about the riding on the Donkey, Sol
added, “I believe in promoting my single to the fullest so the video was just another way to market the single for me”.

“Handcart” has been garnering much attention from the streets since its release. Sol added, “In many of the Street Dances you can witness girls pushing Handcarts and dancing. People all over the world love the gimmicks that come with the song, and I am grateful for that”. Sol Weatherman hails from Cockburn Gardens in Kingston, and is known for the singles, “Weatherman”, “Feel So Good”, and “Whine” to name a few.
