The Love Thing Goes Bad On @KansHTG & @DaleyHTG’s “For The Low”

Mobay Rapper Chance (a.k.a. Kans) continues his run of dropping new music this year. His “Indelible Colours” project wasn’t enough, so he teamed up frequent collaborator Daley on “For The Low“. Produced by Mxdnight, the duo speak on being deceived. While they do admit their own past mistakes, they were thrown off when a friend was involved in their love triangles. Guess this is a game of “Bun fi bun“, but the Artists do express their feelings on this one. Not nice being put down for the low. Video created by Ear Plugs, Artwork by the always talented Kidding Art. Get ready for more music from Chance, Daley, and the High Tunez Gang (HTG) soon! Check out the track below.

Stay Home With Me: @HoodCelebrityy Remixes @FrenchMontana’s “Famous”!

Fame is a helluva drug, and it comes at a high price. While many wish to reach that larger than life level, sometimes it costs friendships, family, and even morals. Many who have done everything to achieve fame later regretted it. Tonight we’re not gonna get too preachy, it’s all about the music coming from Jamaican born, Bronx based, Hood Celebrityy. Grabbing the reigns of French Montana’sFamous“, she tackles it with her blend of Dancehall/Hip Hop. Highlighting how people treat you when you’re famous, she adds that they’ll never love you as well as those who genuinely care for you. The track was produced by Rico Love, DTownThaGreat, and DanjaHandz, and the original is featured on French’s “Jungle Rules” Album. Previewed earlier on a few Radio stations locally and overseas, it was met with mostly positive reviews. Fame can really change a person, stay home with me. Third World Meets Tuff Gong: Songs That Sampled @BobMarley & @ThirdWorldBand

February 6 marks the day two Reggae legends were born, Bob Marley, and Bunny Rugs. Bob Marley started out in Trench Town, and became a larger than life Icon while Bunny Rugs made his mark as a Solo Artist, and Lead Vocalist for one of Reggae’s most successful Bands, Third World. While many pay respects to them today, we’d like to look back at a few songs that further immortalized them through samples. Samples will come from Bob Marley’s solo singles, or with The Wailers, and from Third World Band during Rugs’ time. Enjoy!

1. Bob Marley & The Wailers – Johnny Was (1976)

Sampled on: Notorious B.I.G. – Hold Ya Head (2005)

2. Third World – Got To Get Along (1976)

Sampled on: Little Brother ft. Mos Def – Let It Go (2006)

.@KansHTG & @DaleyHTG Are All About The Laid Back Vibe In “Chill Suite” Video!

After releasing his EP “Indelible Colours” at the top of the month, Mobay based Rapper Chance has been enjoying favourable feedback from listeners. As promised, he would be releasing more product throughout 2018. The first offering since the EP is the visual for his 2017 track, “Chill Suite“! Shot by Romario Lynch a.k.a. “Seen By Lynch” in Portland, the visual features fellow collaborator Daley, and a Creative you’ll being seeing more often this year, Gyal Kapone (friend of the Blog). Fellow collaborator OneLoveTheo though not physically there, adds audio. While the song brought some laid back vibes, the video does the same as Daley and Chance are hosts to a few lovely ladies at a lil hideaway spot. Only thing missing from this video are some dope graphics, and a few wild moments (wink wink). If you haven’t heard it yet, Chance’s “Indelible Colours EP” is available here.
