It’s “Crunch Time” for the Hip Hop “Supergroup“, The Council (Five Steez, Nomad Carlos, The Sickest Drama, Inztinkz) as their debut Album’s release comes sooner than you think. Teaming up with Kabaka Pyramid, Koro Fyah, and Massy The Creator, they unleashed their 5th single titled, “Misery“. With Inztinkz handling the boards, the Artists offer some social commentary as they detail the conditions faced in Jamaica and how frustrating it can be to the point leaving the Island could be an option. In a society where the blind is leading the blind, and the system barring out those who can make a difference, it really is dread out here. Florida based Rapper Alvii is getting his name out there in every way. We featured him recently on “Catch Up“, and now he delivers his first Mixtape! Titled “Adventures Of Trueself“, this 7 track project sees him covering topics about his day to day life, as well as showing that he can handle any of the self-produced beats that he takes on. Featuring Jamaican Rapper Slim I.D. as the only guest, the project shows us that Alvii can hold his own. He also pays homage to Ocala, Florida where he currently resides. Music genres, nations, and personalities clashed in the latest staging of the Red Bull Culture Clash on August 25! Held today at 787 Windsor in Atlanta, Georgia, we got to witness the clash of a few titans in numerous rounds of “Tune fi tune, dub fi dub” Sound System sparring. Featuring “Team Unruly” which was lead by Dancehall Artist Popcaan (who was unfortunately absent), “Disturbing LDN” which was lead by Recording Artist Tinie Tempah, “Enjoy Life” which was lead by Producer WondaGurl, and “Ear Drummers” which was lead by Producer MikeWillMadeIt. Well today, he teams up again with the latter and Canadian Recording Artist Tory Lanez on “Girlfriend”(Get your copy here). Produced by Rockwilder who tears roofs off with his beats, Busta shows us why his musical career has spanned 20 years as he fires off another banger! Adding Patois to his lyrics, and speaking on bringing his Girlfriend to meet his “Mada down a country“, Busta delivers effortlessly. With the “World Boss” and “Fargo” adding their brand of dopeness to the track, this promises to burn up the airwaves, and flow through every headphone and speaker for the rest of 2017 worldwide! Recently, he got the ball rolling with “Catch Up“! With him handling Production here, Alvii wants to catch up to the money, cash out, and stay on a higher level than his competition.
