This is a big one, a clash of countries and genres of music. Major Lazer teamed up with Jamaica’s Aidonia, Japan’s Gachapan, Amsterdam’s Party Squad and Brooklyn’s Baauer to give a mix of House, Trap, Electronic, and Dancehall music. Titled “Smoker Shake Oh My! (Remix)“, this is a remix of the popular Baauer creation, “Harlem Shake“. Aidonia is heard chanting “Ganja Fi Bun!” along with other lyrics. Sounds like a fun track and should drive the crowd crazy at live shows. Set to be released on March 12 on iTunes, check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

After premiering the single a few weeks back, Snoop Dogg finally released the video for his collaborative effort with Mavado and Popcaan. Titled “Lighters Up“, the three artists create bonfires, flick lighters, smoke weed and promote unity everywhere they go. Well this is interesting. After seeing huge success and a few counteractions, Jim Jones felt it was only right to take stab at Chris Martin’s “Cheater’s Prayer” single. Titled “Mary’s Prayer“, Jim raps about his relationships and how it has been hard to be faithful to one. In reality he has personified his many ventures in life from drugs to lifestyle changes as women and their reactions. Pretty decent for the Love and Hip Hop star, video is simple with just him hanging with his crew and playing Cee-lo. I hope Chris Martin has heard it. He may be behind bars, but his music will always pick the locks and be free. Vybz Kartel releases a new song called “I Smoke Weed (F**k You)” and is for the smokers and their stance on anyone who opposes their lifestyle. Nothing too crazy on the lyrics part but Kartel manages to impress me with his work ethic. Produced by Adde Productions on the Summer Wave Riddim, click on the video and prepare to be higher than “Heaven’s housetop“.
