GullyGaza

As promised, Mavado unleashes the remix to his smash single, “I Ain’t Going Back Broke“. Featuring a fresh verse from incarcerated “World Boss“, Vybz Kartel, Ace Hood and Future join in the speak on their ambitions as hustlers and how they promise never to be broke again. A great listen but I really wished Mavado, Ace, and Future came with fresh verses. What do you think of Vybz Kartel’s appearance? GullyGad

From the Gully side to the world, Mavado stopped by Power 105.1’sThe Breakfast Club“. Here he spoke about his single “I Ain’t Going Back Broke“, collaborating with Vybz Kartel and how their beef divided the Dancehall scene, his feud with Bounty Killa, making hits locally and overseas, celebrating a 10 year career, his incident at Philippe Chow, working with Jay Z, giving Charlamagne advice and more. Interesting Interview and a big one for Mavado. When I see Dancehall/Reggae acts on the Breakfast Club, it’s a good feeling. Big up the Gully God. NEW MUSIC: @RealIOctane x @TheAlkaline x @Mavado_Gully – Above Them

Abovethem

Staying higher than mountains today are I Octane, Alkaline and Mavado. In what a few would call an unlikely combination comes “Above Them“. Produced by DJ Frass Records, we hear the trio speak on elevating themselves, looking back at their struggles, achieving success and laughing at those who try to stop them. Interesting to hear these three on one track, but they make it work over a dope DJ Frass production. Three artists who respect each other’s work, and one track that I believe will be a hot one this year. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @Mavado_Gully x @1Future x @AceHood – I Ain’t Going Back Broke

Mavado-Ft.-Future-Ace-Hood-–-I-Aint-Going-Back-Broke

Being broke is not an option for many and coming from the Gully side, Mavado proclaims in his new single “I Ain’t Going Back Broke!“. With Rappers Future and Ace Hood accompanying the Gully God and a La Roux sample, they speak on coming from nothing to being something, being able to provide for their families and never wanting to be destitute anymore. By the sounds of the single, Mavado might have a hit here as it’s a little different from his previous International efforts. His MixtapeThe Hands Of The Gully God” will be available in the next two weeks on this blog. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
