Her melodious voice and vibrant and charismatic personality has charmed its way in the hearts of her listeners. Currently, she’s promoting her latest single “See It Clear” which is written and composed by Michael “Askell” Fairman and Melissa Stewart. This single, produced by MB Music is an original blend of classical Reggae and delivers a strong message on the topic of social injustice.

The single will be officially released in early December and will be distributed by Hapilos 21st. Additionally, fans of Joey can also look forward to the release of the accompanying video for “See It Clear”, which will be shot and directed by Susan Smith of Powerhouse Films in different areas in and around Kingston. On the heels of the release of this music video, the songstress is heading to the Caribbean Island Grenada where she is set to perform on New Year’s Day.

Joey is currently busy in the studio recording more new music to keep her fan base engaged and entertained. With her melodious voice, conscious vibes and impeccable writing skills Joey Brooks is definitely one to look out for.

This Mixtape was the perfect trip down memory lane for an 80s baby like me. It brought me back to the good old days of listening to Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg while driving around Kingston with my Uncle.
