This year is not different, and he releases a new single called, “Finally“.

Produced by Protoje and Winta James for In.Digg.Nation on the “Feel It Riddim“, Romain Virgo gets soulful in, “Finally”. When one yearns for that special someone, the days get longer, the anticipation grows, and the nerves act up a bit until they’re around. Virgo puts what many would feel in times like these, and share that very relatable relief when there’s no more waiting, and it’s just good vibes all around. Produced by Slyda Di Wizard for Romeich Entertainment on the “Red Fyah Riddim“, Romain Virgo liberates himself from the wrong type of people in, “Two Faced”. Virgo shares his displeasure in deceptive people, and ensures that he stays far from them and their dirty ways. When he was at his lowest and needed genuine people around, the ones who he thought were solid, turned out to be fake, no matter what face they choose to wear for everyone else. As always, Romain Virgo gives the listeners an outstanding delivery, and continues to show dominance in his nearly 20 year career. The Singer is still reeling off of the success of his 2024 album, “The Gentle Man“, and over the weekend displayed nothing but greatness at the annual “Best Of The Best” Event in Miami. It’s that time of year when the yutes are gearing up for their return to the classroom. Many have been prepared with essentials since the early part of Summer, but what about those who haven’t checked off anything off of their lists? Thanks to a number of organizations, celebrities/public figures, and businesspersons, parents have been breathing a sigh of relief through back to school events all over Jamaica. Recording Artist Lila Ike is one of those public figures who always gave back to her community of Christiana in Manchester, and this year was no different with the second staging of her “Back To School Treat” with her “Blessings And Light Foundation“.

Sponsored by a number of corporations including Clarks Shoes, Butterkist, Seprod, Megamart, Mother’s, and fellow Artists and businesspersons, Lila Ike ensured that the kids would go back to school with a few essentials at her Back To School Treat. Held at the Christiana Bus Park on Sunday Sept. 1, attendees were treated to rides, free food, supplies for those still affected by Hurricane Beryl, and school supplies. Lila made it her mission to give back to her community, and has never looked back. The day closed off in a major way thanks to a free concert that featured performances by Ike along with Protoje, Romain Virgo, Jah Lil, Jahshii, and a number of Artists from within the community. While he has a respectable amount of hit singles to his name, he never gave his fans an album. After a few transformations in his personal life and career, Bling Dawg’s vision is clearer than ever. Today, Bling Dawg releases his album, “ELEV8“.

On September 11, 2020, the world lost a legend named Toots Hibbert. A pioneer in Jamaican music, he has been heralded near and far as the inventor of Reggae. His contributions to music are vast, and he and The Maytals have inspired generations. Up until news of his failing health, he was working on music and performing. Yesterday we paid tribute to him by highlighting the song that gave Reggae its name. Today, we highlight some of the songs that sampled and covered Toots & The Maytals through our latest Playlist.

From Foxy Brown, to Vanilla Ice, to Tone-Loc, to Lucky Dube, to Romain Virgo, you can relive the moments you’ve heard the classic singles, and learn about the music that paid homage to the classics.
