.@OriginalKoffee Links Up With @GovanaGenna For “Rapture (Remix)”!

Koffee and Govana have both been having a fantastic 2019. With their careers rising higher than ever, and the masses receiving their respective works wonderfully, the sky is definitely not the limit for them as they can go much further. Today however, after blessing us with the Rapture EP and the title track that has been a favourite for many of us, we get Koffee and Govana on the remix! While Koffee originally turned up the temperature on this, the “Genna Genna” applies his flow on the Lasanna Harris production like the lyrical Doctor he is. While I was hoping for some fresh lyrics from Koffee for the remix, the Spanish Town natives did their thing with this one. Video on the way too! Here’s to more Benzes, hit songs, and remixes (hint hint). Everybody get capture while the lyrics gi dem lockjaw!

Celebrating his 52nd birthday today, the “Fire Man” has definitely worked his way up to becoming one of legends in Jamaican music. From his early starts as a Dancehall Artist, to making a name for himself as a Def Jam signee, to dominating Reggae music later, the decades have been good to him. Today, we salute his great works with “The Ever Blazing Capleton Playlist“! Featuring hours of hits, you can’t go wrong with some fire in your life. What’s your favourite song from him? Bless up Capleton on his Earthday!

Today we remember and celebrate the life and work of one of Jamaica’s most iconic Vocalists, the late Garnet Smith a.k.a. Garnett Silk! With April 2 marking his 53rd birthday, many would agree that the world lost this great Artist too soon. In true Blog fashion, we highlight some of his many hits in our latest Playlist titled, “Garnett Silk: Hatfield Legend“!

With nearly 3 hours worth of music, even if you weren’t familiar with his entire catalogue, this will cover some of his finest selections and even a couple collaborations. (Editor’s note: For those questioning the “Hatfield Legend” title, he was raised in Hatfield, Manchester, and has left a huge impact on the community decades after his death.) An Artist who has not only brought a different sound to Reggae, but has influenced Artists after him and many idolize him in various communities worldwide. Walk good Bimbo!
