Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel remains a busy man when it comes to his music. He has definitely inspired a few of his peers, and his fanbase continues to support in every way with every release. Having announced this a couple weeks ago, he finally unleashes the much-anticipated “Numb” EP.

Featuring 8 tracks, Vybz Kartel targets the ladies on the “Numb” EP. Packed with sexually-charged lyrics, Kartel keeps the ladies listening, and his various flows have them rewinding. Kartel doesn’t stray too far with the production on the EP, and Dancehall Artist Savage Savo shows up for the ladies on one track. Things would’ve gotten very interesting if this EP was released by a free from Prison Vybz Kartel, but for now, the ladies will have to send notes of affection through his Social Media platforms.

Recording Artist Kxng Izem has been building on his music and name for the past few years, and has gotten through a few doors in the process. With a number of singles and projects out, he maintains a steady work ethic, and has people eager to see what he’ll do next. This time around, he tries something new, and they’re called, “Midnight” and “Til Dawn“.

“Midnight” and “Til Dawn” are Kxng Izem’s latest EP releases. Doubling up this time around, he hopes this new endeavour gets in the right places, and levels up his profile. Featuring 6 songs each, Izem taps into different themes and topics, while giving listeners his signature sound and delivery. Production on the EPs come from his Ten24 Music, Island.Wav  Entertainment, Shakespeare Production, Sweet Rush Music, and Delagroove Production while Kalex and Mila.Akilah make guest appearances. It’s been a long time since he stepped onto the music scene as Yaksta Carvanie, but the years have been good to him. Now with a few hits to his name, Yaksta is ready to take his career to the next level. He set the scene with a few singles over the past few months, and now he finally released his debut album, “22“.

Featuring 20 tracks, the “Bush Lawd” takes his talents to a bigger platform with “22”. The new album finds Yaksta in a good place, and he showcases some of his diversity in his lyrics and flow. Whether he’s motivating the listener, or reaching out to the ladies, he does it effortlessly here. With production by the likes of Anju Blaxx, Skill Don Music, Marlon Easy, Afro Boi, and Wussmusikk, Yaksta finds his comfort zone, and listeners are pulled in for a great listening session. The guest features are few, but important as Demarco, Rygin King, Chronic Law, Monifa, and Usain Bolt are onboard to enhance the listening experience.

Yaksta has come a long way, and is determined to go for more. Will “22” stand out as one of this year’s best releases? Stay tuned.

Recording Artist D-Feezy returns with new music just in time for the holidays. The Deejay stayed busy in the early part of 2022, and took a break to deal with a few things. Still ensuring that he represents Jamaica to the fullest in Indianapolis, his catalogue has shown various sides of him, and his ability to extend his skillset through collaborations. Readying up for a new year of new possibilities, he keeps moving with the new album, “Rekanize“.

Featuring 10 tracks and 2 years in the making, D-Feezy brought forward plenty music to enjoy at the Christmas and New Year parties, and everyday after that. While Dancehall is his primary sound, Feezy has been tapping into the Afrobeats sound for a number of years, and it reflects on “Rekanize”. The production featured on the album compliment D-Feezy’s deliveries throughout, and guest features from the likes of Terapy, Afrorolls, Playbwoii, Ms. Monies, and Mr. Duke give the album’s experience even more support. D-Feezy has given a number of years to the music, and his rewards for all his work have been steadily coming his way. Keep “Rekanize” in heavy rotation.
