Today’s new music comes from the Busy Signal and RC. Titled “Dreams Of Brighter Days” and produced by Silly Walks Discotheque on the “Brighter Days” riddim, we hear the duo taking the Reggae approach dropping conscious lyrics, promoting positive vibes, meditation and dreaming of brighter days. Great effort from the two, it has a Bob Marley feel to it as well. Busy hasn’t slacked off once this year, the hits keep coming.
This one’s for you, have a shot. After debuting this on his new “NewMusicTuesday” series, Dreggae lets us know about the “Single Life“. Featuring singer Jason Lyric and produced by Douglas Wise Rodgers, it’s all about the ladies, liqour flowing, and freedom. No need for stress, enjoy life in excess! Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Oh lawd it’s another full length effort from the Rapper/Singer/Deejay called Hard Dayz. Titled “Dayz Go By“, this features 11 tracks for the ladies, thugs, and stoners. Dayz even made a 2Pac tribute and spat lyrics over “’93 Til Infinity“. With features from Vindon, Eon Smith, The Protocol, Tonii Carise and others, Dayz never failed to catch the listener’s attention. Good effort, I like that he did those old school hip hop instrumentals some justice. He’s a problem, feed him green. Check out the mixtape below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Tommy Lee Sparta takes the bilingual approach this time around on his new single. Titled “Defend” and produced by Guzu Musiq, we hear the Sparta General declaring that he can defend himself anywhere and let’s you know how he can do so. Interesting single, while we get the usual Tommy Lee, hearing him in spanish is dope! Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
