Kicking off his 2015 in a great way is Gospel artist, Kevin Fowler a.k.a. K. Anthony with his new music video, “God Is Good“. Handling the directorial duties on this one, K. Anthony sings that despite having a few obstacles coming his way, he can fall back, smile and say “God Is Good!“. Although he utilizes a black background with a few graphics, he makes it up with his attire and those who know him know he’s a very fashionable person. Today, we take on the lyrical emcee, Five Steez. 
Q: As the opening acts for the 2015 #PayAttention line-up, how exactly does it feel to be hitting the stage after the short break? [July 19th being the last staging of the show]
A: I’m excited to hit the stage. I got to start the year in 2014 and that was an excellent show. So I’m only looking forward to an even better time for myself and the audience.
[Thing is, I know I have to deliver since #PayAttention has been on a short break, and also because many people may be seeing me perform my latest music for the first time.]

With Rappers Future and Ace Hood accompanying the Gully God and a La Roux sample, they speak on coming from nothing to being something, being able to provide for their families and never wanting to be destitute anymore. By the sounds of the single, Mavado might have a hit here as it’s a little different from his previous International efforts. Here he spoke on his career since the beginning, his upbringing, the cosign from Bounty Killa, his music and his influences, getting support for his music, and future plans. A former member of the Portmore Empire, Kym, then known as “Gaza Kym“, made a name for herself. Things went left since her public feud with the “World Boss” Vybz Kartel five years ago. Tonight she’s on a mission to rejuvenate her music career. Here she spoke on the incident, being blackballed in the music industry, a little on her background, working on her career now, and upcoming music. She also gave viewers a taste of what she’s been working on. Good to see Kym making moves to get back her name out there. After causing quite some controversy last year, what does 2015 have in store for Alkaline? Tonight on Onstage he spoke on being public enemy #1, his absence from Sting 2014, focusing on his career and claiming to being above many of his musical peers, avoiding clashes, “Vendetta“, his performance at Reggae Sumfest 2014, his new look, his debut appearance in the US and more music. Despite being a target in Dancehall, Alkaline continued to make a name for himself worldwide. You can’t help but respect that.
