O’neil Bryan, more popularly known as Elephant Man, has enjoyed much success in his 20+ years as a Dancehall Artist. Having a great track record, he was exalted to god levels hence his title as the “Energy God“. Today we look at another title that I’m sure many would bestow upon him, and that is the “King of the Refix“! With his unique ability to remix a hit song from any genre, Ele gave us that feel good music and an abundance of dance tunes. A Gaza We Seh As Vybz Kartel Jumps On @MajorLazer X @PartyNextDoor’s “Run Up Remix”

The “World Boss” is really living up his role as one of the hardest working Deejays despite his current situation. Earlier, the good folks at Major Lazer unleashed a special remix of the Nicki Minaj and PartyNextDoor featured “Run Up” with vocals from Vybz Kartel! Kicking it off with “Gaza Nation!“, Kartel goes into overdrive as he gives the ladies the lyrics that will have them clinging on to him like magnet to steel. He also made reference to having fun at the popular Summer Party series, Dream Weekend. A single that has had its share of remixes (including a Konshens Remix, and one by Dancehall Artist Khxos), but of course a Vybz Kartel version will make its rounds in various parties. Calling all hot girls! Calling all hot girls! Dancehall Artist M-Gee wants to dedicate this one for you. After gaining some traction with the single for a while, M-Gee aims to go full speed with his music video for “Tun Up“! Featured on the GS Music produced “Cable Box Riddim“, the video calls for all the sexy Women to show M-Gee the “Wine fi hold dem man“. While M-Gee can be seen at various points performing the song, we get plenty of dancing from the Women in various settings throughout the video. While the video could’ve been a little better, it’s not a bad effort to accompany this fun song. Check it out below.

Music genres, nations, and personalities clashed in the latest staging of the Red Bull Culture Clash on August 25! Held today at 787 Windsor in Atlanta, Georgia, we got to witness the clash of a few titans in numerous rounds of “Tune fi tune, dub fi dub” Sound System sparring. Featuring “Team Unruly” which was lead by Dancehall Artist Popcaan (who was unfortunately absent), “Disturbing LDN” which was lead by Recording Artist Tinie Tempah, “Enjoy Life” which was lead by Producer WondaGurl, and “Ear Drummers” which was lead by Producer MikeWillMadeIt. Last year, International Recording Artist/Producer M.I.A. announced the release of her 5th Album, AIM. One surprise on that Album was a collaboration with Dancehall Artist Dexta Daps called “Foreign Friend“. Earlier this year, M.I.A. previewed a second track with the Singjay during a livestream, and today we have it! Titled “Load ‘Em“, Dexta delivers his signature sound to get the party started over a production that sounds like a blend of Jamaican and Indian influences while M.I.A. chants at different points of the song.
