Jamaican artist Blvk H3ro has a message for everyone today, and he delivers it in the form of a song. Titled “PSA (Call Center)” and produced by Mhaadboxx Productions, H3ro speaks on the injustice that happens in Jamaica and in the work force, and encourages everyone to stand for their rights, and unify to defeat the oppressors. Q: No stranger to the #PayAttention showcase, welcome back. What do you plan to do differently this time round? So patrons can know what to expect.

A: It’s no surprise really! I’m bringing that “Block” to the stage and basically showcasing my brand of entertainment. I want my people to know #Immortals, we’re gonna party to that, nah mean? Y’all can expect live collabs with the Red General (T.M.O.) and Kash Kapri for starters.

Featuring 8 tracks with each rapper bringing everything in their arsenal except the kitchen sink, KMT shows us that they rep where they’re from to the fullest and they’re hungry for all the opportunities they deserve in music. Today’s new music comes from Jamaican Hip Hop artist, Slim I.D. Freestyling over Drake’s “Energy” where producers Mercutio and Dennis added their spin on it, Slim drops witty lines about enemies, fake friends trying to take away his energy, getting girls even with owning a Blackberry, and running the game even when he’s not at the forefront. Slim I.D. may have taken a stab at the “IYRTITL” track, but which beat is next? He aims to broaden his reach this year with his clever rhymes and working with great producers. PRESS RELEASE: @PayAttentionJA to host Hip Hop ‘Eutopia’ in New Venue

Kingston, Jamaica’s premier Hip Hop party and artiste showcase series, Pay Attention, is set to take things up a notch with its next staging on Saturday, March 28, at its new venue – Eutopia, above Burger King, on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston.

This upcoming staging of Pay Attention will be its 18th since its inception in April 2012. “We’re all grown up now,” says host and organiser, TSD. “We’ve entered into a marriage with Eutopia because they respect our vision and have the ideal venue for our audience.”

Among the improvements noted by TSD are increased space, more reasonably priced drinks and a dedicated smokers’ deck. As per usual, recorded music will be played by Inztinkz and Deadline Sound, while the featured performers are Koro Fyah, Vindon, Imije and Scotty & The Dreamkillers.

Admission is $1,000 at the gate, while presold tickets are $600. Ladies will be granted 2-for-1 entry until showtime at 10:30 p.m and gates open at 9 p.m.

Assisting this conceptual piece is production from King Biggs, JLL, Riptide, Paris Lamont, Heatwave and Miguel James, Therapist considers this his best body of work yet. Trading verses with his Sons Of Liberty brethren The Rush and King Biggs, and Singer Jamila James, you won’t hear the typical raps from this yute. He also adds that this is the soundtrack to his first year spent living on his own. Get your ears ready, no nightmares in this slumber.
