Dancehall Artist Voiide has been on the grind these past few weeks. On the mission to be heard for 2018 and beyond, he shows listeners the various styles to his art. Today we feature his latest single, “No Sunshine“. Produced by Van-Clive and featuring Rushae, Voiide shows how dark it can get in the country when it comes to not having easy access to a better way of living. The harsh reality anywhere is that when there is no love, and pleas fall on deaf ears of those in power, some people will do whatever to survive. “No Sunshine” is just one of many singles Voiide plans to flood the streets with this year. Good music never dies, and the Artist’s name will live forever. With his first hit song in 2004 followed by a favourable buzz, Dancehall Artist Shane-O was on the radar of many. The years that followed however found him not getting the right hits, and a decline in the buzz. Fast forward a few more years his name started bubbling back on the scene in the form of his songwriting contributions for a couple Artists which converted into hits. Capitalizing on that, he scored a few more hits on his own including the hugely popular “Partner Draw“. If you’re a listener of West Coast Hip Hop, you were aware of the release of “Victory Lap” this week. The highly anticipated Album by LA Rapper/Entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle saw the light after 7 years of waiting. Featuring 16 tracks, fans can tune in and hear the lyrics from one of West Coast Hip Hop’s most respected figures. While the Album has features, one familiar voice may have caught many off guard, and it was the voice of Dancehall Artist Konshens! Appearing on track 9, “Succa Proof“, Konz assisted Nipsey with some badman lyrics and showed listeners the 876/213 link up! The track was produced by DJ Khalil, Mike & Keys, and Rance, the track has already been shown to be a favourite so far on Social Media. Aside from features, Konshens has been working on new music, including dropping more songs with a message. “Victory Lap” is now available on all Digital Music Streaming services.
