I'm a lover of music, and all things creative. I write here and there, and I make a few things. Taking it a day at a time, and giving thanks.

@BoomDrawOfFizix Remixes @TheRealJahCure’s “Rasta”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

The mad Producer/DJ Yared Lee a.k.a. BoomDraw is back at it again with another remix! Today he goes in on Reggae Artist Jah Cure’s “Rasta“. A single that has been popular thanks to an Instagram post of Cure singing it with his Daughter Kailani, it is also a part of his Grammy nominated album, “The Cure“. As BoomDraw describes it, he wanted to re-imagine the sonic environment of the song as well as leave room for the vocal to shine through the track. Providing his signature Production, you can’t help but rock to it, let it free you, and share with others. Artwork by Trinidad’s Sarkastik Ambassador. I say 1, 2, Rasta is passing through, I n I a keep it cool…Real Reggae Music! Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@JusBeinRizzy Wants You To Keep It Low Like Always (K.I.L.L.A.)

Representing Miami, Florida is Rapper/Singer Terall Simpkins with a new track titled “K.I.L.L.A.“. Here he drops a little game for the ladies and lets them know that when they make moves with him, they have to Keep It Low Like Always (see what we did there?). While Terall kicks some raps and croons a little on the track, he also sprinkles a little spoken word throughout. An Artist to look out for as I’ve witnessed his live performances a few months ago. Ladies keep it low, and everything will be alright. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@DamianMarley Shares His Thoughts On Dancehall & More On @EbroInTheAM

The youngest Veteran Damian “Junior Gong” Marley recently stopped by Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” Radio show. Hosted by Ebro, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg, Gong spoke on his “Distant Relatives” collaborative album with Rapper Nas still being popular today, the Marley name still being a strong one, starting his own Medical Marijuana business with Ocean Grown Extracts, sharing his favourite songs from his father, his thoughts on Dancehall music today, being an advocate for the legalization of Marijuana in Jamaica and more. While “Distant Relatives” is still a popular album along with his solo albums and Ghetto Youths International compilations, I know fans are just waiting for the next solo project from the Gongzilla in January. Stay tuned. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
