What happens when the “Unruly Boss” meets Benji? Earlier this year, Popcaan released his “Tight P**** Wine” single but today Producer BNJMN flips it his way on “Poppy“. Here, Popcaan hits the purple stuff and changes tempo while BNJMN parks the Notnice Production aside as he adds his signature sound to the raunchy single. BNJMN has been pretty busy lately as his Production has graced various projects overseas, and we all know what Popcaan’s been up to as of late (lol). An Interesting take on the Dancehall track, and still an enjoyable listen. I’d recommend you play both versions one after the other. A musical Pioneer, a brilliant Songwriter and Producer, Prince Buster paved the way that many Reggae and Ska Artists worldwide follow to this day. Today we reflect on the Icon by showcasing his “Prince Of Peace Concert” that was held in Japan in 2003, and a 1998 Levi’s Jeans Commercial featuring the single, “Whine and Grine“.

A single that promotes being a best friend in every way, this is indeed a dope meeting of lyrics and vocals from two very creative Individuals. M.I.A., who has been no stranger to Jamaica, revealed that during her recent trip to the Island, she heard Dexta on the radio and was inspired and encouraged to collaborate with him. A fan of his single, “Morning Love“, this drew an even greater interest in making music together.
