Mixtape Rave With @Shanny_14

Posted on by swadedavillain

(We’re a little late this week 😦 )

Lifestyle Blogger ShannyDeLioness is back for another week of “Mixtape Rave“! This week she serves you an array of Mixtapes she’s been feeling over the past 7 days. If you missed the previous installments, check them out here.

1. 80s Babies – DJ Richie Ras

This Mixtape was the perfect trip down memory lane for an 80s baby like me. It brought me back to the good old days of listening to Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg while driving around Kingston with my Uncle.

2. 2016 Soca Teaser – Shane Talon

Carnival 2016 is well on the horizon so you know that means loads of new Soca hits to usher any Socaphile into the season. Shane Talon is another 13thStreetPromotions find and I think his mixes are simply superb. This one is no different.

With assistance from Seanizzle, Octane addresses “Badmind” on the phone about its constant attempts to derail his life and career. With Jah by his side, he proclaims that badmind can’t hold him down and encourages listeners to strive for success. If badmind is on the Caller ID, send it to voicemail. 1. Yuma Sweet Summer – DJ Charlotte

DJ Charlotte is one of Trinidad & Tobago’s hottest DJs. This release coincided with the 2016 YUMA Carnival Band launch for Trinidad Carnival and it is a sweet mix indeed. The perfect confectionary of Soca, Dancehall, Hip Hop and Top 40 hits. Released 2 Months ago on her Sound Cloud, it is a favourite for me!
