What’s better than listening to a Vybz Kartel song? Listening to many of them in one sitting of course! With many unsure of the chances of the “World Boss” being a free man anytime soon, it’s good that we have plenty of his music to hold us over till then. Having had a run of Vybz Kartel themed mixtapes, DJ Heavy D of the big bad Chromatic Sound delivers another one in time for the holiday party season. Titled “Str8 Vybz Vol. 1“, we get over an hour of Addi hits, dubplates, collaborations, and some offerings from some of his “children” that we know you’ll love all over again. In case you didn’t know, this is also promotion for the upcoming “Str8 Vybz” event to be held in New Kingston in December. Check out Str8 Vybz here for more info on that. Pulling from his various crates, today he presents to us his official Popcaan tribute Mixtape, “To The Glory“! Featuring some of your favourite “Unruly” hits mixed some live performances, we’ve come a long way from the young Deejay who joined Vybz Kartel on the massive hit, “Clarks“.
