“The Release” is an Entertainment Program featured on Hype TV every Tuesday at 8:30 PM, with repeats on Thursday and Saturday at 6:30 PM. Hosted by Talisa Taylor, Lisa-Sade and Janice Young, the program features some of the newest entertainment releases and upcoming events. He had listeners chanting “Way Up” and “Stay Up” at the start of the year, now he wants them to “Get There“. Where? He explains this and his tremendous growth on Onstage. Here he gave a career update, the success of “Way Up” and “Watchiwiya“, being signed to Popcaan’s Unruly Entertainment, being more than a slang creator, his recent experiences, his video “Get There“, and looking forward to 2016. He also performed for the Onstage audience. From bringing the red carpet into the dance to being the creator of your favourite slang, Chi Chi Ching’s career will go “Far Out” so “Get There“. NEW VIDEO: @Jamie___XX x @PopcaanMusic x @YoungThug – Good Times

After blazing the airwaves and the streets for months, there is finally a visual for Jamie XX, Young Thug and Popcaan’s “Good Times (I Know There’s Gonna Be)“. Directed by Rollo Jackson, we see Jamie getting the crowd hype with the single in one location, Young Thug vibing in another, and Popcaan chilling on a balcony. Nice visual, while I like the placements of “Good Times“, I was disappointed in not hearing Popcaan’s verse in this. What I’ve found out recently is that this single has been featured in the soundtrack of NBA Live 16 so big ups to the “Unruly Boss” on the achievement. Considered an odd collaboration, today’s new music comes from UK Producer Jamie XX, Dancehall artist Popcaan and Rapper Young Thug. Titled “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)“, this is a single that celebrates life and enjoying it to the fullest over some very wonderful production and samples that add to the theme. For those who aren’t familiar with Jamie XX, he’s the producer behind the late Gil Scott-Heron’s “I’ll Take Care You” which was sampled for Drake’s “Take Care” single.
