@Real_iBlackLion Kicks Off His Comeback Campaign With “No Pain”!

Fresh from setting off his comeback campaign, IBlack Lion marches on with the soulful track, No Pain. The song is one of the favorites from his 7 track EP, Story Of A Dream. Produced by UK based Ras Blinga Records, the track is distributed exclusively by Vpal. The EP itself is produced by Boss Dove Records and finds IBlack Lion in the familiar place of positive, feel good music.

The EP which was released in August 2016 is being distributed by Zojak Worldwide. With the positive feedback that he has been garnering from this project, it is safe to say that IBlackLion is on route to new heights of success. IBlack Lion says the inspirational track is his way of using Reggae Music as a vehicle of change for conscious upward mobility. “The single has been getting a great response from the International market, gaining traction especially in the UK, the US, and in the Caribbean. I am very happy to have reinvented myself in this way.”

Since the release of the track, IBlack Lion has performed at major reggae shows in the British Virgin Islands, Barbados and the Turks and Caicos, and looks forward to a few more upcoming shows later down in the year. The accompanying video which was released last month on YouTube has garnered over ten thousand views in a short time span and continues to grow in views.

IBlack Lion is currently working on the videos for the tracks Nail Mi Up and Don’t Give Up. These tracks are also featured on his Story Of A Dream EP. He is also working alongside Good Good Productions on a project to be released later this month.

@SummerRozeMusic Turns The Heat Up With “Batty Rider”

Emerging US-based Dancehall Deejay Summer Roze is currently promoting her latest single, “Batty Rider”. Released recently, “B Rider” is produced by American producer Byngham. Distributed by Zojak World Wide, it is available on all digital platforms. According to Summer Roze, the song is for “people who genuinely just love music that feels good”. However, she said the females are claiming it as the single that has them dancing when they listen it.

“’B Rider’ is being well received. It has been creating a buzz both locally and Internationally, on the radio stations and the dances. The dancers all love it, especially the DHQ dancers; they post videos dancing to the song on Instagram and received over 90,000 views in just few days,” said Summer Roze.

When asked what inspired the song, she said: “I wanted to stay in the same lane of my first single “Bumpa”, which did well. Also, Buju Banton’s original classic inspired me.” Summer Roze (given name Rosemarie Grant) was born in Florida to Jamaican parents. She is the daughter of Jamaican boxer Uriah Grant. He won the IBF Cruiserweight Championship belt in 1997. She has high expectations for her career. “By the end of 2016, I hope to be fully booked for every festival and concert of 2017 and every year after, my music playing on every station worldwide,” said Summer Roze.

What happens when the “Unruly Boss” meets Benji? Earlier this year, Popcaan released his “Tight P**** Wine” single but today Producer BNJMN flips it his way on “Poppy“. Here, Popcaan hits the purple stuff and changes tempo while BNJMN parks the Notnice Production aside as he adds his signature sound to the raunchy single. BNJMN has been pretty busy lately as his Production has graced various projects overseas, and we all know what Popcaan’s been up to as of late (lol). An Interesting take on the Dancehall track, and still an enjoyable listen. I’d recommend you play both versions one after the other. Recording Artist Blvk H3ro has been buzzing as of late. With his “Bussweh” movement, he has been treading near and far spreading good vibes, good music and of course his love for the herb. Over a year ago he introduced to the world his ReggaeSoul compilation, a collection of freestyles and singles that was streamed online. Today he fires off a visual for a standout from the collection titled “We All Are O.N.E.“. Directed by LatyKim and shot in various locations in Kingston including Paint Jamaica at 41 Fleet Street, Blvk H3ro hits the streets spreading positive energy and meeting up with his crew which includes fellow “Bussweh” members The Grei Show and Dennis Greatest. Adding smiles, unity, candid moments, and a “FullJoy” tee by Streetwear brand Massiv, H3ro not only gave you a good feeling while watching, but gave us two videos in one! While in part one we see H3ro trekking through the streets, part two shows the cast having fun with the camera. Smooth flows of a simple man speaking of simpler times. Deejay/Producer L. Razor Drops Shanti Riddim With All-Female Lineup!

New York based Jamaican Producer/Artist L Razor is upbeat ahead of his latest project, Shanti Riddim. Slated to be released on September 16 on his Straight Hit Records Imprint, the Riddim boasts an all-female cast. “This project has such a high expectation on it because of all the hard work it took to get eight great hard-working female Artists on one Riddim. The female Artists have been fighting for their place in the male-dominated Dancehall Industry. That is why I decided to put a stop to it and put the ladies on the forefront of Dancehall, so the Industry can be balanced properly,” said L Razor.

The acts featured on Shanti Riddim are Macka Diamond, Tiana, Candiesha, Sekklez, Beme Mystique, Trudiva, Semonita, and Rhythm Piink. The set will be available on all digital outlets. The producer said a medley video is in the works. “We’re set to drop two medley videos of all the Artists showcasing their songs. One medley was shot in New York, while the second is be shot in Jamaica next week,” he said.

L Razor (given name Sheldon Thomas) hails from Portmore in St Catherine. He migrated to the United States in 2000. As a Dancehall Deejay, he gained attention with Buss It Pon Dem in 2008. His other tracks include Mad A Road and Watch Me Nuh.
