This is for the ladies who have “the face of an Angel, but the eyes of the Devil” who ride shotgun in their man’s car. Be ready for whatever girl! Konshens continues his run of International collaborations. From tracks with Rick Ross, Nipsey Hussle, and E-40 to name a few, we get the visual with Recording Artist B-Rae for the The Kemist produced track, “Shotgun“! While we find B-Rae proclaiming the role as a “Ride or die chick” on the track, Konshens holds it down for her and assures her that they’re a great combination. Throughout the Sam Braventon directed video however, we find them counting money, cruising in a Chevy Bel-Air, and escaping a Police raid. It’s all about being together forever, having each other’s backs, and making a lot of things happen together no matter how what’s going on. Buss A “Toast” For @OriginalKoffee’s Latest Single!

If you know you’re grateful for the blessings, put up your hands right now and give thanks! Recording Artist Koffee has been on a roll in such a short span of time. Since her tribute to Usain Bolt going viral, she has been enjoying a massive buzz thanks to her singles that followed. We’ve shown her love as one of the female Artists you should watch out for earlier this year, and she’s climbing to the highest peak. With the announcement of her signing to Columbia Records recently, we know she has a lot in store to present to the world. Kicking off 2019 early, she unleashed her major label debut track titled, “Toast“! Produced by Izy Beats and Walshy Fire, we find Koffee speaking on her progress so far, giving thanks for the blessings that have followed, and of course entertaining us with her unique delivery. We also get a video which features cameos from Chronixx and Protoje, and is shot in the style of old school home videos thanks to Xavier Damase. Gratitude is a must. Recently, he released a bunch of them via a project titled, “Raw“. With 14 tantalizing tracks, the temperature will definitely climb even in the coldest of spaces when this is played. What will open the flood gates however, is track #9 “Say My Name” featuring Dexta Daps, another Artist who keeps the ladies on cloud 9 consistently. Produced by Dre Day and SOS Dynamikz (a lil about him here), the duo are competing for the #1 spot for the ladies, as they know what they do to ensure the women come back for more. Dancehall & Reggae Music continue to influence many worldwide whether through the various sounds, lyrics, or even some of the people who create from the genres. Today’s entry is no different as famed Hip Hop Producer 9th Wonder dabbled in a bit of the sounds in his latest compilation album, “Jamla Is The Squad 2“! While the album features a host of tracks for every flavour, it’s the opening track that will surprise and awe many. On “Welcome To JamRoc“, the opening vocals come courtesy of Dancehall Artist Quick Cook, while the following production samples Damian “Junior Gong” Marley’s “Welcome To JamRock“, and Ini Kamoze’s “World A Music“. With 9th tackling the production, Rapsody, Heather Victoria, GQ, Reuben Vincent, and Ian Kelly provide the lyrics that go well with the dope sounds. This isn’t the first time 9th sampled Jamaican music as he borrowed sounds from The Mighty Diamonds on the tracks “L.A.” and “Bad Man” by MURS, and Third World on the track “Let It Go” by Little Brother. Ricki is a very unique Artist, and that’s the reason why she was added to our list of Female Artists to watch this year. If she isn’t around a few canvases, or perfecting her “drip“, she’s penning some crazy lyrics to fit the sounds that approach her. Recently, as a part of her roll out, she delivered a double dose of music videos namely “Bless You” and “Pesos“.

On “Bless You“, we find Ricki presenting herself as a walking canvas as she dons various outfits, and gets very colourful throughout. With Troy Baker’s production handling her lyrics, you will very blessed upon consuming this presentation.

On “Pesos“, Ricki delves into some Trap Dancehall vibes as she switches up the flows (and languages) over some hard hitting Troy Baker sounds. The video, which was directed by Dennis Brown Media House, finds Ricki counting up the moula and delivering some “bad gyal” vibes, while we get a bit of dancing thanks to Tara Tehrebel and Tashine Hinds of Versatile Ones. Give Ricki the lane, and she’ll be sure to take advantage of it.
