As 2018 comes to a close, we look back at a few songs that were favourites on the Blog for the year. While we can’t name EVERY one, we’ll give you 10 (in no particular order so hold off on the ego) to reminisce on, or get familiar with.

Directed by Kia Moses and shot on Fleet Street and Life Yard in Kingston, Naomi hops on her funky Bicycle and cruises through the street and sprinkles that lovely song for everyone to hear. You can catch a few familiar faces along her journey like Black H3ro, Osunya Rose, Lindsey Lodenquai, and be treated to some pieces of Fashion from Tia Clothes Girl, YC, and Those Creative People. Since the first time we heard this Teflon Zincfence produced track, we knew it would’ve been a hit, and give us a few cavities. Get yourself a “Hot Gyal” fan after watching this hot video. Featured earlier this year in our Female Artists to watch out for list, we stay tuned to hear what she’ll drop with her blend of Dancehall, Reggae, and Pop Music. Whether flipping samples on “Locker 1 & 2” or dropping the bass on the Jeeby Lyricist, Blvk H3ro and Kione Zaire featured “100LBS”, Jones is a Producer to check for! Whether playing guitar as a part of “Di Vibe” or crafting beats, Kone (Koh Neh) should not be taken lightly. Having produced newcomer Yanah’s single, “The Cycle” and her “Believe In You” Freestyle, delivered the right Riddim with fellow Producer BoomDraw for Blvk H3ro & Leno Banton’s “Sky Dive”, expect to hear more of this creative this year!
He doesn’t call himself a “Riddim God” for nothing. You’ve enjoyed many of his productions that have been complimented with the vocals of Jamar McNaughton, and he has an arsenal ready to go toe to toe with the best of Producers. Having recently released the “Dub Policy EP”, he’s busy preparing his compilation project titled “Top Works Vol. 1” which will feature his ZincFence Records members Ulo, Jane Macgizmo, and Inezi.
