It’s a celebration when the Track Legend Usain Bolt, and Beauty Queen Yendi Phillipps team up! Recently they teamed up with French Champagne producer GH Mumm for their latest campaign. With a tag line, “Celebrate Your Next Victory“, the two star in a Commercial promoting the popular Champagne. Featuring a lot of dance moves, EDM, and transitions from the party to the track, this looked like it was a fun shoot for them all. The retired Track Star sure loves his role as the Chief Entertainment Officer. You might need a well tailored suit to watch this one. Watch the clip below.

Yes, we know, Vybz Kartel is one of the greatest Dancehall Artists ever. We’ve seen the cult like following, we’ve heard all the tracks since his Incarceration, his ability to cater to every vibe and situation, and his influence on many. He is no stranger to collaborating with International acts though. While tracks like “Pon Di Floor” (Major Lazer), “Frontin’ (Remix)” (Pharrell & Jay-Z), “Twerk It (Remix)” (Busta Rhymes), “Girlfriend” (Busta Rhymes & Tory Lanez), “WTP Remix” (Eminem & Supa Dups) get spins, he also has collaborated with the likes of Lorde (on the way), Kalash, Wizkid, and Sean Kingston over the years. OLDIES SUNDAY: Early B – Ghost Busters (1984)

The Duppy/Ghost/Obeah culture is very much alive in Jamaica. While we don’t celebrate events like Halloween (though the Party goers and folks in certain Communities do), we are aware of the spirits, certain folklore, and the people who claim to have connections to the dead or possess skills in Witchcraft. Today, we bring you “Oldies Sunday” to fire off a selection from the late Recording Artist, Early B “The Doctor” which adds to the Ghost/Duppy theme. The tune we present is called, “Ghost Busters“!

“Ghost Busters” was produced by Nkrumah Manley “Jah” Thomas, and released in 1984 through the Midnight Rock Label on the “Stormy Weather Riddim“. The single was also the opening track to his 1985 Album of the same name. In the song, Early B speaks on his adventures as a Ghost Buster as he saves the community of Yallahs, St. Thomas from a ghostly threat. Fearing nobody but Jah, he gets to work on eradicating the threat.

It’s Sunday, and we have another episode of “Kngly Live!” brought to you by Kris Karz, and Kngly Studios! Today marks the series’ season finale with the promise of even more dope Artists and music to come. To close off the season, we have the lovely Kaylan Arnold covering the late Amy Winehouse classic, “You Sent Me Flying“. Kaylan is armed with her lovely voice, and a Guitar as she does the cover justice and we are all being taken back and remembering a great talent that was gone too soon. This goes out to all the ladies who use that “I’m shy” card. While he has been known to produce for the likes of Denyque, Fyakin, and of course Khxos, Sean Alaric steps into the spotlight with his own single. Teaming up with longtime collaborator Khxos, they release “Shy“! Giving listeners a lil R&B and a lil Dancehall, Khxos speaks to the ladies that have a thing for him, but are timid in letting the feelings be known. If you’re familiar with Khxos and his work, then you know he’ll have her breaking out of her shell in no time. Released through Class One Music, the Label has seen its share of success over the years, with one of the latest being Khxos’ debut Album, “Dopamine“. No word yet on Sean putting out an Album, but he’s ensuring that you have some music to groove to for the rest of 2017. Preorder the single here. Ladies, it’s “Bruk Out SZN“! Dropping a lil Reggaeton for you all today courtesy of Ozuna! Recently, the star from Puerto Rico teamed up with Recording Artists Zion Y Lennox for the tune, “Egoista” (“Selfish” in English), today we give you the visual! Directed by Nuno Gomes, we get somewhat a Music Video in a Music Video as the Artists are on a set complete with Video Production equipment, props, and of course some eye candy. Throughout the video, Ozuna sings about being a selfish lover and is trying to redeem himself with the help of his supporting cast. A very clean visual here, but it somewhat helps with the theme of the song. Ozuna has been enjoying success in the Latin America market, and his debut Album “Odisea” has been doing pretty well. Recently he was seen in the studio with Recording Artist Cardi B, and Jamaican Producer Rvssian, who know what they’ll be cooking up. Discover something new, check out the video below.
