What’s a dope track without a remix? Tonight, Montego Bay based Rappers MoulaUE a.k.a. MoulaDiDon and Karma Crew present to you their remix to Brooklyn Rapper Young M.A.’s “Ooouuu“! Unlike those who preferred to follow the pattern of the original, the Rappers tackle the beat to stake their claim that not only are Jamaican Rappers nice with the bars, but the Mobay Hip Hop scene is one to have in your radar! During their exhibition, they also name dropped a few Mobay Rappers that have been making noise as well. West west y’all. Pentateuch Movement is ready to release their latest single, ‘Crime’. Moved by the social situations both yard and abroad, Pentateuch movement speaks openly on the injustices on their culture and island; Jamaica. ‘Crime’ addresses issues of poverty and hardship faced by youths everywhere.

“This song came as a result of the crime situation happening in Jamaica now from the murders to the money laundering and hustling going on, all these are results of the unemployment and illiteracy rate in Jamaica. The song is also a stance against the British government building another prison in our country an we still need to get word on that as a nation.” – Pentateuch Movement

Produced by Pentateuch Movement under the Pentateuch Movement label,‘Crime’ was recorded at the Mixing Lab Studio in Kingston, Jamaica, and was mixed by Phillip Mcfarlane.

The official music video for ‘Crime’ was filmed in the streets of downtown Kingston and in the Shelter Rock Community in Greendale, Spanish Town, shot by El Puru a.k.a. HIMAGES along with Emmy Lou Mai, and edited by Ruption of RD Studios.

‘Crime’ single is available across all digital music stores on October 26th. The music video premieres on October 26th on the movement’s official VEVO youtube channel. Pentateuch movement is preparing for the release of the long awaited album ‘Chapter XVIII’ set to be released in first half of 2017.

@DonAndre Explains Meaning Behind New Single “In It (Ain’t It)”

Hot newcomer, Don Andre is keeping his momentum on a high with a brand new release titled, “In It (Ain’t It)”. The track premiered earlier this week on Jamaica’s popular radio station, Zip FM.

Don Andre explained what the song was all about, “The term “In It (Ain’t It)” is just an English figure of speech that is frequently used amongst youths aging from as young as five years old. People outside the UK are usually fond of this slang, so I thought it would a great idea to make a song about the term, “In it”.”

“In It (Ain’t It)” was produced by prominent radio personality, ZJ Dymond’s Full Chaarge Records. The single will be available via all major music outlets for pre-order on September 9th, with an official release on September 23rd. The track is distributed by 21st Hapilos.

Don Andre came to prominence via his remake of the Shabba Ranks classic, “Needle Eye”, which peaked at #1 in Costa Rica. He has been nominated as Best New Artist of the year for the prestigious IRAWMA, among other awards. His ”Tom Cruise” single and dance move are also top contenders in their relevant categories.

Ugandan Recording Artist @MCNormanGanja Releases “Special Request (No Lies)”

Ugandan Reggae/Dancehall Artist MC Norman recently released his brand new single, “Special Request (No Lies)”. Produced by Kron Productions, the Artist questions his role in a relationship and requests that his love interest tells the truth as they’ve had some rough episodes. The multi award winning Artist has been making his rounds in United States and has been receiving some favourable buzz thanks to his single “Ndiyabuza” which has appeared on the soundtracks to popular US Television Shows such as, “What My Husband Doesn’t Know”, “American Gangster”, and “The Game”. MC Norman was also a 7 time nominee in the International Music Awards recently held in the United States, and was nominated for “Best African Dancehall Artist” in the 2016 Afrimma Awards.

About The Artist

Born to Senior Eddy Ganja, a Ugandan music legend, Soloist and Vocalist with the Afrigo Band, MC Norman started off his music career in 1987 at the age of 12 by working with the Afrigo band which included Joanita Kawalya and Peterson Mutebi. Before he left Uganda, he was one of the top local MCs who had stints with the then high end Clubs like Missouri in Maganjo, Pulsations in Kabalagala, and many others. He later joined MM Disco Sound, and worked with Artists such as the late Ivan Matama, DJ Lubba Style, and Rhino Kalemba before joining Jose Chameleon and DJ Bernazor as Dancers and MCs for the Missouri Club every Wednesday and Friday.

MC Norman became a widely acknowledged MC after working with Sam Amooti and Paddy at Jaaja Ansinansi, and later working at Vibration Disco Club alongside Junior Plies Compious, DJ Roberto, DJ Henry and Lota. He later joined his brother and former “Bakayimbira Dramactors” Actor Philip Ganja in South Africa in 1998. Together they started “Ganja Music Productions”, a Music and Film Production company to help develop talented individuals. The two brothers have worked with some of the top South African Kwaito Artists including Arthur Mafokate, the late Zombo, Purity, and Penny Penny, the Shangani Music Star. Their Film Company was responsible for Productions like “Welcome To South Africa” which sold up to 2 Million copies in Uganda, and 5000 copies in South Africa on the day of its release. They also produced “Buladina”, a tribute Film about the life of fallen star, Paul Kafero.

The collaboration between Jamaican Rapper Five Steez and NY Radio Icon DJ Ready Cee has been a fruitful one over the years. With their “Momentum Vol. 1 & 2” Mixtapes bringing in a lot of buzz, Steez has managed to capitalize off it with the release of two projects, and numerous freestyles and collaborations including one with Hip Hop Super group, “The Council“. Today, the duo complete the trilogy with “Momentum Vol. 3“. Featuring Steez hopping on classic Hip Hop Instrumentals while Ready Cee does his signature cuts, fans are taken back in time thanks to the beats, and then brought up to speed with Steez’s bars. Nomad Carlos, Dizzy The Ill One, Inztinkz, The Sickest Drama and Massy The Creator even stop by to add some bars to the mix. While this is not a Swan Song for Five Steez, he closes this “Momentum” series with a bang and gives listeners an idea what’s in store from here on.
