Titled “Urban Juggling: 40/40 Vision“, this is a mix of some of the latest Hip Hop music with a splash of Dancehall music and a bit of older Hip Hop hits. Over 40 minutes of music by Pusha T, Big Sean, Kanye West, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and others to keep you moving and pumped for any occasion. Today’s mixtape comes from Jamaican DJ, Fifty and it promises to be a great one. Titled “Eazy Medz Oldies Jugglin‘”, this is a throwback reggae mix of some of the best songs from the 1990s. Featuring hits from Beres Hammond, Junior Tucker, Abijah, Chalice, Luciano, the late Garnet Silk and many others. This mix is so awesome for some of these songs brought me back to my childhood, especially the opening track (Dance Hall Monic by Chalice) and the Garnet Silk selections. Today’s mixtape comes from U.S. based DJ Journee. Titled “Rolling Mix” and hosted by Jamaican Rapper Five Steez, this a collaboration with Jui-Jitsu/MMA apparel company CTRL Industries and the DJ. The mix features some really good remixes from the DJ with tracks by Five Steez, Busy Signal, Kabaka Pyramid, Nas, Pete Rock and many more. This is a big one, a clash of countries and genres of music. Major Lazer teamed up with Jamaica’s Aidonia, Japan’s Gachapan, Amsterdam’s Party Squad and Brooklyn’s Baauer to give a mix of House, Trap, Electronic, and Dancehall music. Titled “Smoker Shake Oh My! (Remix)“, this is a remix of the popular Baauer creation, “Harlem Shake“. Aidonia is heard chanting “Ganja Fi Bun!” along with other lyrics. Today’ new music comes from Dancehall artist Konshens. Titled “Icon” and produced by Dawg House Production on the Bad Bounce Riddim, Konshens pays tribute to some of the Dancehall/Reggae Icons who paved the way for many other artists and put Jamaica on the map.
