In case you didn’t know, popular Afrobeat Recording Artist Mr. Eazi released the 2nd volume in his “Life Is Eazi” mixtape series. With a blend of new sounds and familiar names, this project is one to keep on repeat. One of the familiar names that appears on the project is Jamaica’s own Chronixx on the track “She Loves Me“. With a rather upbeat production, the duo speak on the roller coaster loving they each experience with their respective love interests. A song many can relate to as mixed signals can be a detriment to a budding relationship, and then there are those who have ulterior motives. Be careful as to not let another person misuse your love. Yo TJ, every man grab a shorty because the “World Boss” Vybz Kartel dropped a new tune for the upcoming Christmas party sessions. Titled “Pretty Potion“, if you know Vybz Kartel’s run you’d know he always had some tunes locked and loaded for the 4th quarter holiday season. Produced by Vybz Kartel Muzik, Kartel will have the ladies slow wining to this one while they get their Instagram videos and captions ready. While many will question Addi’s ability to record during incarceration, the fans will be keeping this one repeat until it hits a few million views. DJs, you’re gonna need this track, get familiar! If you were under a rock for the past couple weeks, Dancehall Artist Spice dived into the sea of controversy and had the people talking. With a skin bleaching stunt to promote her black positive single, the Deejay and now Reality Show Star topped it off with the release of her latest Mixtape titled, “Captured“. Since the releases, Spice has been a never ending topic to discuss. While all that is well and good, what probably slid under the radar for many, is she gave us another side of her musical prowess to enjoy, singing in Spanish! On the track titled “Fiesta“, Spice gets into some Latin production and delivered! While the mixtape featured some of her usual arsenal, this unique entry is one that should garner numerous repeats. Ricki is a very unique Artist, and that’s the reason why she was added to our list of Female Artists to watch this year. If she isn’t around a few canvases, or perfecting her “drip“, she’s penning some crazy lyrics to fit the sounds that approach her. Recently, as a part of her roll out, she delivered a double dose of music videos namely “Bless You” and “Pesos“.

On “Bless You“, we find Ricki presenting herself as a walking canvas as she dons various outfits, and gets very colourful throughout. With Troy Baker’s production handling her lyrics, you will very blessed upon consuming this presentation.

On “Pesos“, Ricki delves into some Trap Dancehall vibes as she switches up the flows (and languages) over some hard hitting Troy Baker sounds. The video, which was directed by Dennis Brown Media House, finds Ricki counting up the moula and delivering some “bad gyal” vibes, while we get a bit of dancing thanks to Tara Tehrebel and Tashine Hinds of Versatile Ones. Give Ricki the lane, and she’ll be sure to take advantage of it.

Today’s new entry comes from Singer/Songwriter/Producer Sheen (formerly known as Ashani), and you will feel the emotions in this one. Recently, he made his video debut with the single, “Lot To Lose“. Brought to you by the combined efforts of Stephanie Channer, Live High Meds, and Andre Livingston, Sheen is seen here belting out the Blues as he deals with some difficulties in a relationship. Co-written by Roe Summerz and produced by Irish Hill Records, this one is definitely a repeater as many of us can relate to the scenarios sung here. We love the direction of the video here as it fits the dark tone of the lyrics, simple and effective (and black and white (the proper term, right?)).
