Representing Miami, Florida is Rapper/Singer Terall Simpkins with a new track titled “K.I.L.L.A.“. Here he drops a little game for the ladies and lets them know that when they make moves with him, they have to Keep It Low Like Always (see what we did there?). While Terall kicks some raps and croons a little on the track, he also sprinkles a little spoken word throughout. An Artist to look out for as I’ve witnessed his live performances a few months ago. Ladies keep it low, and everything will be alright. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
When it comes to being a creative, there comes a time where you will be met with a lot of oppression. Recording Artist Khxos knows a thing or few about such situations and recently released “Some More“. Today, he brings the video to your screens! Directed by Sean Alaric and shot in Miami, Khxos continues to fire back at the haters and lets them know that he’s still making progress so they can continue being naysayers in the meanwhile. Khxos also introduced a new member to “Team Khxos” in the visual, his new red hair! With a slew of new music dropping ever since his “Deception EP“, expect a new project from Khxos hopefully before the end of the year. If you want to catch Khxos live, be sure to look out for his appearances at a venue near you. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Florida based Recording Artist K. Charlz has been making a name for himself for quite a while. Recently, he fired off his latest single titled “Move On“. Produced by Lion Riddims, Charlz aims to throw a failed love out of his life. It’s the typical story of someone not having your back during your struggles, but claims to have been in your corner all along when things get better. After being there for her in every way and no appreciation was shown, the ex now feels the burn after Charlz gives her the walking papers. K. Charlz really commanded this smooth Reggae Production as he never misses a step with his delivery. A single that deserves numerous replays, it really is an enjoyable listen. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
First they started out as the youth of the Dancehall/Reggae culture, now they’re parents with growing kids. It isn’t unusual for the child of an Entertainer to follow in their parent’s footsteps one way or the other as at times they bring a modern take on their parent’s creations, or create their own lane. Some of the most famous off springs include Stephen, Ziggy, and Damian “Junior Gong” Marley (Sons of Bob Marley), Chino and Di Genius (Sons of Freddie McGregor), Junior Tucker (Son of Jimmy Tucker), Morgan Heritage (Children of Denroy Morgan), Tarrus Riley (Son of Jimmy Riley), Queen Ifrica (Daughter of Derrick Morgan), Protoje (Son of Lorna Bennett), Chronixx (Son of Chronicle) and many more. In part 5 of a few part series, I feature more of the new set of kids on the scene whose parents have covered much ground in their respective careers.

Dropping off new music today is Miami based artist, Dylan Golden. Titled “Gardens” and produced by Jamaican Producer Kris Karz, we hear Dylan paying tribute to the place he was raised in, Miami-Dade County. Over a beautiful production we hear Dylan speak on his upbringing, his Latino heritage, and his experiences in the Miami-Dade County streets. A great listen here and Dylan and Kris really make a good combination. Off his upcoming album “Humble Beginnings“, check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
