Straight out of Montego Bay comes a triple threat that doesn’t play when it comes to dropping bars. Under the name “KMT” comes MoulaDiDon, Tazz and Karma Crew with their “3 Eyes EP“. Featuring 8 tracks with each rapper bringing everything in their arsenal except the kitchen sink, KMT shows us that they rep where they’re from to the fullest and they’re hungry for all the opportunities they deserve in music. Get to know them as they all produced solo efforts via their “United Empire“, “High Tunez Gang” and “876 Beats And Records” teams respectively. A few years in the making and a follow up to his debut, “Lethal“, Rapper The Therapist drops his “9 More Dreams” project. Assisting this conceptual piece is production from King Biggs, JLL, Riptide, Paris Lamont, Heatwave and Miguel James, Therapist considers this his best body of work yet. Trading verses with his Sons Of Liberty brethren The Rush and King Biggs, and Singer Jamila James, you won’t hear the typical raps from this yute. He also adds that this is the soundtrack to his first year spent living on his own. Get your ears ready, no nightmares in this slumber. Armed with gritty lyrics and top production is Brooklyn bred Producer/MC Sosa with his new project, “Made In America“. Released through the newly formed ArkHouse Music Group, this is described as a conceptual album boasting 8 tracks filled with dope lyrics described as “90s Boom Bap mixed with Coke Rap”, and awesome sampled production that reveals 90’s Hip Hop influences. If you’re a fan of that “First Coast” movement and none of that filler music, this is for you.
