Jamaican Producer Krs. has been making a name for himself for quite a while with his original Productions. The founder of Film Noir, he has produced many remixes and has been a part of many singles locally and Internationally including Canadian Artist Roy Woods’ “Gwan Big Up Urself“! Recently he got a hold of R&B Recording Artist Brandy’s classic “I Wanna Be Down” and worked his Production magic on it. Giving the 1994 single a face lift, Krs. takes the track on a Caribbean trip and even adds a Popcaan dubplate at the end as an added bonus. Bad Royale is a EDM/Bass Collective that has been making noise for quite a while. Based in California and signed to Mad Decent under the sub label Good Enuff, Maor Levi, Kevin Wild, Bruce Karlsson and Elias Ghosn have been collecting listeners on their rise to fame thanks to their dope remixes and original production that crossed over many genres. Recently they recruited Caribbean acts Mark Hardy (Trinidad), Future Fambo (Jamaica) and Brukout (Jamaica) for their latest EP titled “Treasures From Tomorrow“. Bringing EDM, Caribbean Bass, Future Dancehall and Future Soca together, this is a mash up of audio goodness and is a nice addition for the holiday weekend! While the EP is only 3 tracks long, this is a project that will be left on repeat as you rave away the troubles of the past week. It’s time to get wild! The mad Producer/DJ Yared Lee a.k.a. BoomDraw is back at it again with another remix! Today he goes in on Reggae Artist Jah Cure’s “Rasta“. A single that has been popular thanks to an Instagram post of Cure singing it with his Daughter Kailani, it is also a part of his Grammy nominated album, “The Cure“. As BoomDraw describes it, he wanted to re-imagine the sonic environment of the song as well as leave room for the vocal to shine through the track. Damn Wize, back at it again with a hot beat! The UK based Producer presented his “For The Love” Instrumental earlier today and showed a little of his old ways. Wize recalls starting out with West Coast Hip Hop influenced productions during 2011-14 before venturing into futuristic type beats. A little of the old, and a little of the new, Wize gave listeners something to rock to and keep on repeat. This track is a free download but support his work by getting his sound kit here if you’re a Producer wanting to try a thing or two.
