Today we introduce to you an Artist that you’ll be hearing a lot from this year. Her name is Hanay Lawrence a.k.a. Yanah (Irie Girl), and today she brings to you, “So Shy“. Featuring Production from Mck Supreme, Yanah gives you “more tune fi yuh head top” as she speaks on how she feels when her love interest is around. This song relates to many when it comes to having a crush as they want to get closer, but hesitate on making the move. “13th Street Rants” is a new series on 13th Street Promotions (hopefully we have more after this) where we share commentary on various topics in Entertainment. In our debut episode, we speak on the current war of words with Dancehall Artists Jahmiel and Vershon. Is it necessary? We tend to think that beef is needed at all times, but that shouldn’t be the case. We think both Artists are amazing in their respective careers, but this beef? While we’ve had Dancehall/Soca/Calypso collaborations over the years by the likes of Beenie Man,  Konshens, Spice, and of course you all know of the late Legend Byron Lee and his Dragonaires, and the timeless Fab 5 Band, this Artist has taken his talents and determination and became the first to make it to the International Soca Monarch finals! His name is…Linky First!

Born Jason Henriques, Linky First has been blowing up the airwaves in Trinidad & Tobago and the rest of the Caribbean with his hit single, “Rock & Come In” on the Ruffin produced “Liming Riddim” since its release last year. He has since followed up with “Control It”, “X6”, “Doctor”, and “Naked Pon The Road”.
