Find Your Peace In @KelissaMusic’s “I Don’t Even Know” Single

It’s a new month, and we look forward to a lot of good in this last part of 2025. While there are a couple wars brewing, we take the time to seek peace and calm. Reggae Artist Kelissa seeks to provide us with that. While we weather the storms, we tune in to her new single, “I Don’t Even Know“.

Produced by Chronixx, Kelissa assists in giving us the space to find our peace in, “I Don’t Even Know”. In times where faith declines, worries add up, and trouble seems to find us at every turn, Kelissa guides us to our places of calm and safety, and her latest selection will connect with many at this time, encouraging us to show gratitude. The Singer has been on the road and dealing with life outside of the booth, and the new release comes at a time when many are facing uncertainty. Something soulful, something that feels right. Hold the faith.

.@ChronixxMusic Returns With “Exile”, 1st Album In 8 Years

The time is here, and what a better time than now. After numerous requests and demands, Reggae Artist Chronixx is back with a new album! There was plenty of speculation when it came to his return with new music, and despite an announcement this past Summer, many had doubts on him actually dropping in 2025. Today, on his 33rd year of birth, he returns with, “Exile“.

With his first album in 8 years, Chronixx is ready to shift the culture once again with, “Exile”. The follow up to his 2017 GRAMMY-nominated debut album “Chronology” finds a more mature Artist, with something new to share with the people, and tapping into things that are important like family, community, and navigating through this life, while still holding true to Reggae Music. “Exile” features production by Inflo, who presents sounds that borrows from Soul and Roots Reggae, and puts together the needed pieces for Chronixx’s continued growth in lyricism. With fans breathing a sigh of relief for the new project, the next few months will find him connecting with them through live performances. Until then, start with track one. Welcome back Chronixx.

Friends Only - Never Be The Same ft. Buddy, EarthGang, Kabaka Pyramid, Hector "Roots" Lewis, Medisun on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica

.@FriendsOnlyOfcl Links Musical Minds In The Visual For “Never Be The Same”!

FRIENDS ONLY is an LA based creative company founded by Natalie Prospere, and is partners with Mass Appeal Records, the label behind releases from Run The Jewels, Dave East, and its co-founder, Nas. Recently, the company announced a new product called, “Friends Only, Jamaica“. “Friends Only, Jamaica” is on a mission to bridge the gap between local talent in Jamaica, and visiting artists and producers from the U.S. As a part of the mission, a “Friends Only, Jamaica” compilation has been made, with the first single, “Never Be The Same” featuring Kabaka Pyramid, Medisun, Hector “Roots” Lewis, Buddy, and EarthGang released a few days ago. Today, we get to see the official Music Video.

Directed by Nickii Kane and shot in Ocho Rios, we’re given a BTS look at how the track was put together. The video finds the Artists writing and recording their parts over the Dre Day production, and we see some unity and good vibes throughout. Producers Universvl ZincFence and J.L.L., Recording Artist Lucky Daye, and Reggae Artist Chronixx make appearances in the visual, and just by watching we know the recording sessions were a lot of fun. We look forward to the full “Friends Only, Jamaica” compilation when it hits the streets and streams in 2022.

Hector "Roots" Lewis - "Ups And Downs" on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica #Chronixx #Reggae #RootsLewis

.@RootsLewis Is Saving Lives With @JLLProd Produced Single, “Ups And Downs”

A few years ago we did a weekly segment in honour of “Women’s History Month“, and one of those Women we honoured was the late Singer, Barbara Jones. She blessed the scene with her lovely voice, gave us beautiful music to remember, and left a solid legacy. Carrying on her legacy and carving his own lane, is her son Hector “Roots” Lewis Jr. He is a Musician, a frequent collaborator with many of your favourite Artists including Chronixx, and is now fully stepping out as the first Artist signed to Chronixx’s Soul Circle Music label. He puts his best foot forward with his much anticipated single, “Ups And Downs“.

Teaming up with acclaimed Producer J.L.L., Hector “Roots” Lewis gives listeners healing, upliftment, and all around good vibes with “Ups And Downs”. He encourages listeners to never give up when there is failure in their life as “you can never rise if you never yet fall down“, holds his ground as he knows he’s built for the challenges that life has in store for him, and reminds us to always have Jah in everything you do. “Roots” Lewis steps out strong with “Ups And Downs”, and we’re confident that his new journey will be very fruitful.

.@ChronixxMusic, @SpraggaBenz3, @StephenMarley & Super Cat Join @SalaamRemi On New Album

After previewing some message music earlier this year, Producer Salaam Remi continues to do it for the culture as he finally dropped his powerful new album, “Black On Purpose“. Featuring collaborations with numerous black voices in music, he tapped into Jamaica and enlisted Super Cat, Stephen Marley, Chronixx, and Spragga Benz!

Having featured Super Cat and Stephen Marley months prior with the tracks “Push Time” and “Is It Because I’m Black“, Salaam Remi sought those who could help to push great messages in the music as the “Black Lives Matter” movement strengthened this year as racial tension in various parts of the world are on the rise. Chronixx can be found on “Afrikan Children” with Black Thought, and Stephen Marley appears for a 2nd time on the album with the track “Black Progress” which features Spragga Benz. “Black On Purpose” follows up his early 2020 release of “Do It For The Culture 2” which features Red Rat, Stephen Marley, Buccaneer, Majah Hype, Wayne Wonder, Spragga Benz, Ghost, and many others.
