.@SkipMarley Charges With New Single, “In Our Sight”

It’s a new music Friday, and Recording Artist Skip Marley will have your attention with this one. When he wasn’t taking his music to the stage, he was busy recording, and securing collaborations with other Artists. He’s ready for more, and he steps up with the new single, “In Our Sight“.

Produced by Supa Dups and released through Def Jam Records, Skip Marley moves forward with the new single, “In Our Sight”. In a time when people are experiencing hardships and difficulties, Skip wants the people come together and fight for a cause. He goes against those who wield the blade of corruption, who torment the people with oppression, and calls for us to fight back and claim what’s ours. “In Our Sight” is for the future leaders and fighters, the ones who know what’s right, and will endeavour to fix things. The new single samples Dennis Brown’s 1973 single “Westbound Train“, which was produced by Niney The Observer, which also sampled Al Green’s 1972 single, “Love And Happiness“. Victory is in our sights, it’s time to step up and revolt!

.@KingCruff Asks “What Have I ‘Don” With Debut EP

If you’re a follower of this platform, you’d know of Canada-based Recording Artist King Cruff. Since the late 2010s, he has been on the scene building his fanbase, and developing his sound. Blending Hip Hop with Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Pop, and a lil EDM, he has been winning over listeners with his selections, and silencing his doubters. Earlier this year, we released a Short Film on Cruff, and he revealed that he would be releasing a project this year. He came through on that word with the release of his debut EP, “What Have I ‘Don“.

Presenting 6 tracks, King Cruff takes center stage with his “What Have I ‘Don” EP. His skillset takes an upgrade as he shows that world that he is made for this. An exhibition of potent flows and sharp lyrics that tap into Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Pop sounds, this representative of the Tuff Gong camp has what it takes to make music that will stand out. Released through Tuff Gong Collective/Universal Music Canada, Cruff recruited Banx & Ranx, !llmind, CircaEleven, OLivR, and Natural High Music for some heavy production while Skip Marley, Solo Yt, Jag.Huligin, and StoneBwoy join in on the fun. King Cruff is here to make an impact and do a lot for the culture, and like his Grandfather, dem a go tyad fi see him face.

.@SkipMarley Links Up With @RickRoss & @AriLennox On “Make Me Feel”

The new generation of the Marley family continues to wave the flag for making great music, and ensuring that Bob Marley and the previous generation’s talent they’ve inherited never dies. Skip Marley climbs further up the ladder to success with his brand of music. Having made a lot of noise with his collaboration with H.E.R. called “Slow Down”, today we get to hear his latest single titled, “Make Me Feel“!

Featuring “The biggest BossRick Ross and Dreamville songstress Ari Lennox, Skip finds himself in a groove as he glides over some smooth production by Rykeyz, and drops lyrics revealing moments of uncertainty, but finding hope through that special someone where you get to enjoy life to the fullest, and create good vibes with the one who has had your back through good and bad times. The world can get crazy, but having the right person there with you can do a world of good. With the addition of Ari’s soothing vocals and the Rozay’s signature sound (there are two versions of the track, one sans Ross, the other with an Ari verse), this track sounds like another hit! “Make Me Feel” should be on your Playlist today, and let the lyrics be a mood all year!
